But you see "Hypersoniq" that's where your way off my point is that if you don't know what to look for then that person shouldn't be using these tools.
I agree with that... but you'll not find that in their advertising. I know software can help, I know QP's are just that, QP's. I know (thanks to some of your previous posts) the difference between prediction and trapping. It's not that I coudln't figure out how to use the demos, it's just that there was nothing more consistent and repeatable than what I was already doing with excel.
I am not what you'd consider a serious player, hardly ever do I exceed $10 per any one drawing, and lately it's been under $5 or even $2... Maybe I am going about everything backwards, but I figure to learn what I can about prediction first, and then learn about designing wheels and trapping... since I play few lines, prediction seems the best initial route...
Right now most of my effort is on the pick 3 in PA, There I am looking at prediction AND trapping together. If (IF) I have any success there, then I'll use the extra $$$ to bump my powerball work into the trapping phase, using what I have learned about prediction to catch better numbers. I'm not expecting any "magic", I fully realize that in the big picture my few $$$ played is what is driving my limited results. I'm not mad that I'm not "there" yet... the journey is most of the fun...
MY point is that the current crop of for-sale software isn't exactly being marketed to those who "know what they are doing"... they don't care where they get their green from. I'm not worried about myself.. I have patience and enjoy working on systems from the ground up... But we all know there are millions of losers for each winner and THIS is the target demographic for the "snake-oil salesmen". I never said that pre-packaged software will NOT work for Everyone that tries it... but I do think that the majority of system advertising is misleading.... caveat emptor...
