based on the initial experiment and the hours I work, if I lay down and clear my mind, I'm going to sleep... Not wwriting down numbers...
you would still need to focus on recieving, only now it would have a structure... sound reasonable? plausible? I think a visual aid would help the experimenters with no background in visualization or recieving outside of the normal input senses... like me...
anyone else have different approaches to the original experiment?
Let's assume you're 30 pounds overweight and out of shape. How would you go about correcting that? You might buy a book on dieting. You might start a gym membership. You might walk for a half hour a day every day. But whatever you do, I am sure you know, you will have to do it regularly, with discipline, over a period of months. You're not going to get into shape by deciding on Saturday morning and expecting to have lost that 30 pounds next Friday.
Likewise, most of us are 300 pound blubber balls wheezing along just from the kitchen to the bathroom when it comes to our intuitive abilities. The barrage of commercials, electronics, email, computers, neon, cars, movies, telephones has dullened our senses and we react frantically to those stimuli. Our inner eyes are glued shut from the mucus of our commercial world. Go hiking for a couple of days and suddenly you notice that you have creative ideas out of nowhere. You have to shut down the TV if you want to read a book. You have to shut down life to meditate. And it's ever harder for us in our current society.
But it's there. Fast for only 36 hours (drink only water) and amaze yourself about how creative your mind gets.
So, to tap into the "superconscious mind" you have to first realize that it's under all the blubber, and that our society is doing the best it can to squash it. Konane would call this "believing" it. It's just making the decision. Look in the figurative mirror and say: "Oh, boy, I am a fat slob, time to clean up." Then come up with a program of cleansing. That program needs to include some reading. Read a book on the subject every week. It includes the practice of self-hyposis. There are other avenues. I have found that hypnosis appeals to the scientific types like me. No hocus pocus, no believing, no new age stuff, no spirits and all those things that have gotten this thread off track. It takes about a month of dedicated, regular practice in hypnosis to start seeing results. This is the equivalent of starting to walk the 2 miles a day. You are on your way. Now that you have some basic skills, you need to start setting a goal and targeting your efforts. Do you want to be a weightlifter? Do you want to be an aerobics champion? Do you want to find pick-6 lottery numbers? Come up with an appoach that works for you and test it and practice it. Monitor your results.
That's where I am now. Plain and simple. I have started seeing the figurative pounds drop off me, but I am not anywhere near my goals.
Bottom line: It takes hard work and discipline to train. It's like any other activity. You want to be a painter, you had better take a class "Painting 101" and get started with the fundamentals.
However, I can assure you that you will be grateful for having done it once you are on your way, and it has nothing to do with the lottery. Lifechanging improvements start happening while you're not looking.

Another thing is that you are not a failure if you don't win Mega Millions or Power Ball $200 million dollar jackpots. You may only win Cash 3, but that is a clear indicator that you're headed in the correct direction so keep going at it. You may find pennies on the ground which is also a message you're headed in the correct direction. Just because something isn't dropped in your lap like you wanted it to be doesn't mean the concept of visualizing doesn't work and should be scrapped. No telling what wonderful thing you may co-create because you're limited by your imagination, but you'll never know unless you try. Good luck!
Winning the Mega Millions is like winning the Tour de France. Lance Armstrong worked full-time for 10 years (all his life really) and still does full-time to be able to do the world-class feat. Some psychic superstar may read all 6 numbers after years of practice and pull it off. Do it once, then never do it again, lest the lotteries of the world shut down.
I am in an experiment now where I am testing these abilities on myself in a scientific way. I have about a dozen data samples to show for by now, since I started when this thread started. That's NOTHING. That's the equivalent to going to the gym for about 4 weeks two times a week when I neglected my body for 10 years. I will need hundreds of data samples, thousands, to see a trend. It's going to take time. So yes, small results are what matters. That is significant. If there are small results, then big results are possible. We need to make sure that bike riding can be learned before we can attempt to beat Lance.
There is no free ride, and there is no shortcut. It's a skill, nothing else. All we're doing here at this point is figuring out if bikeriding is even possible without fallling over.

Hypersong "I wonder if visualization is harder now than it would have been maybe 40 or 50 years ago...
Have read that the current energies present support a greater ability to create and manifest than in very recent years, also years long past. The earth has had a magnetic grid shift 3 degrees northwest over the past 10 or so years which caused us to lose our grounding during the process. Grounding into the earth is necessary in order to manifest anything. Grid shift is complete as of about 1.5 years ago so this kind of work should be much easier to accomplish.
Events (time as we measure it) have drastically sped up allowing the time between mentally creating something and the realization of dvents actually happening to be radically shortened .... which lets us know that thoughts create dvents.
Sanaya Roman has a meditative tape available about "expanding and contracting time" the concept of which is very useful in being able to mentally stretch out time where dvents are not in a close chaotic jumble and more easily dealt with. It's actually creates a perceptual adjustment allowing us to perceive time as it was at a slower pace.
"what about using technology to give visualization a "boost"?"
Recommend new age music free on Windows Media player through ChoiceRadio.com or other stations. There are for purchase meditative music tapes which help get into the correct frame of mind. There is incense such as Nag Champa which is very nice readily available, all the way to perfumes and incense for purpose.
"I check the powerball site after each draw, perfect transmission time, study the numbers... Recieving... how about this? using windows paint or some other drawing program, make up a results page with a new slot inserted, covering what you know beforehand (date of next draw) and 5 blank white balls and a blank red ball, use this as a basis for recieving..."
Yep the concept is known as "sympathetic majick" and is a really good visual aid so create anything which feels good for you to do. I've tried many things including lining up six blank ping-pong ball to see if a number appeared mentally ... all this before I got a computer.
"based on the initial experiment and the hours I work, if I lay down and clear my mind, I'm going to sleep... Not writing down numbers... "
It's actually better to sit in a comfortable chair, and if you're tired it is highly tedious to go into self hypnosis without falling asleep. You are not by yourself on this challenge!!!!!
May be easier for you to visualize having already won the jackpot you're after ... and you did that by having the correct numbers ... because that is more of an active state rather than passivity of meditation. If you create already having won by having the numbers to do so, then those numbers can be dreamed or simply pop into your head. Once you get the hang of it that's the way it works. Read NBey's posts. (Personally feel NBey could add volumes to this forum were it not for her wanting to stay as far away as possible from Visiondude et al's rantings, and just perhaps she's the real smart one here!!! NBey you go girl!!!)
Experiment with different methods and see what works for you. Everyone is different, with different techniques applying to each one of us. None of the methods I've posted are hard and fast ... only showing a general direction to aim toward.
Wish each of you much good luck finding the method which suits you best, and hope it brings you multiple jackpots plus enriches every aspect of your lives.

Four4me "I would like to participate in this forum's topic but don't want to bring religion into any aspect of it. References to god the devil or any other supernatural being. It has nothing to do with one sitting down and meditating about what number might hit or not. I know of studies using biofeedback methods to achieve oneness with ones own mind body and using biofeedback combined with Alfa and mediative states can invoke many response."
Couldn't agree with you more, but felt it necessary to explain the subject in terms most can relate to. We're on a planet with both light and dark, so a distinction had to be made between the two and pitfalls encountered by using something which is not a part of our very makeup.
From the remainder of your well stated post, sounds like you're definitely on the right track fine tuning your abilities while saving your $$$$ until you get it down pat. Hey, congratulations for your perseverance and common sense approach!!! Hope you hit it big when you start playing for real!!
Have never tried a biofeedback machine but imagine it would be extremely helpful.
Have fun and the best of luck to everyone!

Dragon, good points... It took me 20 years of fiddling around on the guitar to get to the point where I can figure out how to play just about any song by ear (to the amazement of my 15 year old daughter whom I am teaching to play punk bass). What I am thinking is whether or not any winning numbers are produced, this could be just the thing to break up my songwriter's block...
Konane, thanks for the advice. I'll pass on the incense and may swap out the new age music for some mellow songs by Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson, but I'll give the experiment a go...
it's kind of like 2 cans on a string for communication, only transmission is across time rather than space... A chance to tinker with some relativity without spending money... sounds cool!
Have an EXCELlent day!

Numbers that i picked and played for midday in Maryland these were
posted on today's prediction page sometime this morning.
The pick 4 number that hit was. 4957
5984,1037 ,4987 ,4083 ,5407 ,5062 ,1980 ,1302 ,5964 ,4063
4 numbers out of my group almost hit (no cigar) I put all my efforts into this attempt as I do for every attempt. As you can see i was
one number off for a straight hit and 1 number off for a couple
chances at a boxed hit. I am still fine tuning my ability to project the
winning number. I won't be playing all these numbers tonight as i will
re evaluate them and try some different numbers.
midday winning number pick 3 was 672
058, 556 , 788 , 928 , 565 , 782 , 225 , 922 , 252 , 851 i didn't do as well
with the pick 3 and will admit i didn't use a lot of mental ability to
choose these numbers.
No software was used. No paper method was used. I just looked at
the last 10 draws and started projecting what i thought might
hit for midday. Ok need more proof look at my predictions for
Maryland check them against MD's numbers and you will see
I am getting some ware. But need to tap into this ability and fine
tune with more precision or effort, and I just might get the wins.
I will admit I expend a lot of energy doing this and sometimes it is
draining. I will be happy though when it pays off. -
Technology to give visualization a boost.
Many people believe that visualizing is a strong way to achieve goals, whether that be riches or good health. Self-hypnosis and Meditating are the same thing as far as I am concerned and the quickest way I have heard to get into it is to imagine yourself climbing into a great big overstuffed white chair in a white space.
Visualizations greatest failure is it takes a lot of self discipline to actually go into self-hypnosis and the processes. What will spouses think, etc.?
Many other people have many other techniques.
Others come up with positive affirmations which are the daily repetitiion of phrases such as "I am a money magnet". They repeat this ten minutes in the morning and ten minutes at night.
This phrase can be adjusted so long as you use the phrase "I am". For example if you were to quit smoking with affirmations you would say "I am a non-smoker", if you said " I will quit smoking" it would not work, the word "will" implies sometime in the future, and the future will always be in the future.
Affirmations are also in the self-hypnosis category even though you are just talking aloud to yourself. All hypnosis is based on the power of suggestion.
The power of suggestion is the theory behind the placebo effect and hypnosis. If you went up to someone and said "it is getting cold in here", they may in fact start to get colder. If you go up to someone in good health and say "What's wrong with you, you look so pale." they may in fact get sick. There are hundreds of books on the subject so if this interests you research it.
It is much easier to do affirmations than visualizations and in my experience both work. Affirmations just require a commitment of 20 minutes a day repeating the same sentence with no lying down type hypnosis involved. You could do it to and from work.
I took a suggestion from a "Napoleon Hill" book once when I was strapped for money and started repeating the word "Wealth" over and over. He suggested that if you affirm "I am getting wealthier and wealthier everyday" your conscious mind may be silently negating this statement by saying "No I am not" at a subconscious level. By repeating this one word "Wealth", there is nothing to contradict, yet your mind is concentrating on affluence.
I went a little crazy and did this for several hours a day (harder than it sounds), and about three weeks went by. I did not let up, and had the word written over and over in a small book I wore on my neck. Well things happened alright.
I got offered a job that paid $32.60 an hour and double that $65.00/hr on weekends. It did not take me long to get rid of my debt and start living comfortably. The problem was I stopped all affirmations when I got the job. I didn't think I needed them anymore. Eventually the union shop I was working for let me go because the guy I was filling in for returned from a long-term diasability (collapsed lung). So I truly believe in that one word method.
As far as using technology I have applied my belief in affirmations to influence my musical taste. I firmly believe Curt Cobain from Nirvana committed suicide because he kept singing such depressing songs. I will not purchase depressing music and will listen to positive songs like::::
Karen Carpenters ******"TOP OF THE WORLD"******
If you make up CD's like this you can sing your way to better health and riches simply by plugging them into your car, and your spouse and kids wont know the difference. Except they will notice a difference in you.
and now for a limited time only for the low, low price of $29.95
NOT, told you before I am not trying to sell anything on this forum.
If you find any positive songs like this please let me know. I would also be interested in a positive music radio station openning up. I think there would be a huge market among salespeople and affirmation believers.
Also Our lottery group got smaller and smaller until it got too small. I was sent an email regarding doing a few lotteries where we pick any old numbers and attempt to will them into being through our various self hypnosis meditation techniques.
Thanks for getting us back on topic Dragon.
Good-luck to all and to all a good night.

I think we should focus on the inverse. The universe draws the lottery numbers every night in hundreds of locations, through mechanical machines and computer circuitry. These things just happen, and I don't think we're going to will them into happening a certain way.
The real question here is: When do they happen? Did they already, will they, or does it matter? If they did already, then the lottery administrations are kidding themselves, and they are banking on there not being enough of us out here that don't buy into that illusion. If that's the case, and time is an illusion, we may have a way to beat them -- for a while. I can tell you this: If I were to get good enough and clean up in one lottery once, I'd get real quiet and fade away, and let the rest of you capitalize.
Do we know that some winners before us did the same thing? We will never know. And then again, were they really before us? Or are they just now?
I know, Colin is going to tell me I am off my rockers again, and perhaps I am. Or I was?

Be careful about the music. There are certain sounds that induce the right drowsy state of mind, and other sounds will induce other states of mind. It's best when you use sound that is proven to do the right thing from the start.
Say you want to travel from Pennsylvania to California. If all you know about his horse and buggy, you can certainly do it, and it'll take you a year, if you don't die along the way. You can walk. You get on a bicyle, or you can drive your old 69 Mustang. In that, it'll take a week, give or take. Or you can go down to JFK and get on American Airlines flight 57, non-stop to LA, and you're there in 5 hours.
Now, all the ways get you to California, but one way takes up a good portion of your life, the other takes an afternoon. This does not build character. So try to choose the proven method.
Sound plays a very powerful role in altered-state induction. Choose it carefully.
Of course, I am talking to a musician. You surely know all this.
-
looping the song "Dee" by the late Ozzy guitarist Randy Rhoades would do the trick, it's an uplifting finger-picked acoustic piece in a major key.
I have always looked at keys and scales in an overly-simplified way
A. Major = happy (most pop music from any era)
B. Minor = sad ("Angie" by the Rolling Stones)
C. Major Sdventh = goofy (classic ending chord to tounge-in-cheek folk songs al-la bob dylan and the occasional rock song)
those are just the first impressions I got when I used to practice scales for hours on end back in the day.
usually though, not considering the experiment, to mellow out, I like reggae-flavored stuff, either by Bob Marley or the Reggae/punk/Ska collisions by bands like Sublime("Get Ready" "Doin' Time" "Crazy Fool" "Santeria"), Goldfinger ("Superman") and Mest ("What's the Dillio").
Eddie Van Halen's "Cathedral", Jeff Beck's "Greensleeves"... there are tons of choices.
Of course, being a musician, I may be better served to have NO music because that would become a distraction regardless of the song. Maybe a simple white noise sample...
I always check the results the day after, just something I picked up because if I watch the draw, my numbers never come up... and I always check them at the MUSL website first. I think I already have a routine down for transmission, I just have to fit in reception somewhere. I will also have to resize the screen regularly to just show the winning set, that will make artwork for the visual aid easier to maintain (just change the date)... perhaps some affirmation could be thrown in there by making the screen say "there was one winner from Pennsylvania last night" and setting the jackpot back to 10 million ;-)
I have a spreadsheet set up in excel to track results, I will capture the delta of pick versus results to see if anything repetetive presents itself there, also I have it set up to include my other pick based on the weighted average of some stats.
Have an EXCELlent day!

I have liked four4me s method of looking at a overall of past draws and trying to visualize the last line, because obviously he is imto the practice of filling this spot with winning numbers and they will be there in the future. He seems to be getting results as well.
As far as my last post where I mentioned willing the numbers to come up. I should have phrased it differently. This is how it was put to me by someone who has been doing this and just tried to join the group a little to late.
"I would imagine that everyone has a different technique and most likely mine is some variation. I really don't see myself as so much predicting the future, rather I see myself choosing a probable reality. To a certain extent, we all are good at this for we move in and out of probable realities as easily as if we were walking through a doorway into an ajoining room. If you look around, you will find the people that are most successful in life have this mastered. At some level, they recognize that their thoughts, beliefs and attitudes have a direct bearing on the dvents that occur around them. So very basic to success in anything, is a belief that the goal can be achieved.... It is important to remove the doubts, guilt or other negative feelings about the desired assumed goal of "winning a lottery" if that is what you hope to achieve. "
I am suggesting that we try a draw using this combined concentrating on a certain reality. I am phrasing this badly

hypersoniq:
I am suspicious about the presence of lyrics. They will get you into the wrong track, wrong not in terms of bad or good, but in terms of thought processes and focus. Focus is of paramount importance. Distractions will throw you off. Also, the beat of the music should draw you into an alpha cycle -- the brain wave specialists have nomenclature for all this and they can measure it. Go down to the music store, check under "New Age" and forget the adverse label of New Age for a minute. Find instrumental music that is designed to induce alpha or theta states. This will be labeled accordingly. It will always be instrumental. All you need is one CD and that'll last you for the first month or two. Then just work with that. It's like using a new pair of glasses and having your eyes get used to it. You'll listen and your brain will become conditioned and you'll drop into alpha quickly after some time. The Pavlovian principle applies. Next thing you know, you hear that music, and you're there. It's instant, like walking into another room in your consciousness.
There are many tricks you can play, but music is important. Since you're a musician, it's probably better if you start with something you haven't heard before and have no associations with.
Stay away from white noise. It may work, but it does not help. It's white noise.
Regarding the viewing, and KWHILBORN's comments, too, I find that it works much better when you don't have the string of numbers. Numbers are very hard to see, elusive. Looking at a whole string of numbers is too much. You can't receive that. You need a number at a time. I am finding that I am confusing even two digit numbers. Oh, if lotteries only had single digit numbers.
Actually, and here is my next frontier: I really think numbers are hard, very hard, because of the digit problem and the visualization. How the heck do you visualize a number? I can visualize a teddybear, I can visualize a light bulb, I can visualize a volkswagen bug. So I am toying with the idea of creating a map of 53 objects, random ones, diverse ones, like my few samples above. "1" is teddybear. "2" is light bulb, etc. Put them into a spreadsheet. I don't even need to memorize the map, since it's arbitrary. However, I could then project results in tangible concepts. The drawing for tonight might be:
Alligator
Mickey Mouse
Cold Beer
Shooting Star
Bicyle
and for the mega number another: Cold Beer.
Now I project those concepts. And I read those concepts. Then I decode them and play the lottery.
The only reason I haven't started working with this is that I seem to be doing ok with numbers thus far, and I can only hang on to one routine at a time without getting confused. Changing too often is counter productive and may also take away focus.

Thanks KWHILBORN

It's like I am chunking the numbers into groups and I somehow see or visualize what comes next in line almost as if I am placing the numbers in the next order of things to come. I visualize what I perceive to be the next group of numbers. I tried this with match 5 for a while and was getting some small hits, then switched back to pick 4 numbers. I figure if I get better at them I may push onward to the match 5 game. With pick four it's like I am placing the numbers in the exact order as they would appear when drawn. Projecting or channeling if you will, like looking at tomorrow's newspaper today and seeing the numbers.
Big John says. You don't hit the number. The number hits you!!!!
I'm not Big John, I'm Four4me, Big John's a friend. -
The idea of Dragons concerning visualizing objects is interesting, and I do jump all over new methods of divining. This seems like a lot of work because there are at least 39 numbers in most draws.
I think all of my predictions would have the "cold beer" number in it though, at least through the summer.
Are any of you aware that you can get into alpha simply by focussing on a Stereogram. Those are those 3-d pictures we all spent hours trying to figure out, that you blur your eyes to see. This is also a good way to stay awake in Alpha.
I have gone so far as to create 70 of these pictures all with a different number. It does seem to help with the projection part of things. I have my computer throw the 20 winning keno numbers at me in 3-D stereogram formats. So I am gauranteed to be in Alpha.
I was once stopped by a group of Scientologists who used a pair of metal rods attached to a machine to monitor my thinking. They told me to think of what I did that morning. Afterwards they asked me to think the same things, only they would tell me when I was at the finishing point.
They did this accurately by watching a meter and recording the results, when it measured the same ways on the second trial they knew I was at the finishing point as quickly as I did. I have no idea how this machine works, and I am not endorsing Scientology although it does look really good, I read Dianetics. I am wondering what this machine was and if it could be used to measure lottery picks at the subconscious level. i.e. if I look at the number 24 while thinking of tonights draw will the machine register higher meter levels than losing numbers.
I know some of this technology stuff is off the wall, but with all the brain monitor type equipments and sciences today there might be an overlooked method.
For everything I try now though I always seem to come back to the tried and true basics.
I am also glad to see that so many of you have tried my method and are getting promising results. anybody know what this machine is called because I would love to buy or make one.

I have now become a Dog. I am not the first person to have this occur. There is a famous Russian movie called "My Life as a Dog". This is the inverse to that which it is spelt backwards but cannot be said on this Forum without drawing the wrath of the defendor.
This transformation happened to me when I was loudly barking under a tree and an authorative voice revealed to me it was the wrong tree. I left some liquid sustanance for the tree as high on the trunk as I could reach and I'm sure any German Shepherds, Rottweillers, Doberman Pinschers etc will shiver in fear if male or get very excited if female.
Since then my life has changed. I am now given to speaking in Grrrrs with thinly disguised messages in morse code.
However, I would like you to know I have very wide music tastes. As I get around in my car it is not unusual for me to be singing stirring hymns of praise.
This is my Story this is my Song
This is my Story this is my Song

Channeling the numbers well it didn't work exactly as planed but a boxed 4 digit hit me that I projected earlier today. 3017 hit tonight. I played it 1037. I'm not bragging here folks just thought that I would put it to a test because I'm sure some might think it hog wash. Now to keep the ball rolling we'll see where it goes.
