dude. no offense, but the lottery is not a good way to get out of debt. HARD WORK IS! unless you beat incredible odds, there is a good chance you are only getting yourself deeper into debt, and if you are in debt, how are you getting money to play the lottery? shouldn't you put that money towards paying off your debts?

I'm right there with fja response,
For me, it is all about beating the odds. Getting that straight! (1 in a 1000 in the P3) and getting it several times a month while doing it with very few daily plays. Seeing if there is a way to really come out ahead in this game. Trying to be one of those to figure it all out. I love showing people there is more to it than they think. That's what I really enjoy the most, and of course, the money isn't bad either.

I play because I feel that I'm undertaxed and the government doesn't take enough of my money already. So, I therefore play a game which returns about 50% of the money wagered and fattens the wallets of overpaid government workers already earning at least 75K+ per year. Oh yeah, we can't forget about the Section 8 housing residents who get to sit around and do nothing because they pay about $25 or $10 a month in rent while I'm out busting my *ss 40 hours a week in order to pay full rent. So the government needs my money for those people too.

Yes, thats another reason I play too. It's not just for me. To see the happiness on my family's faces after I share the wealth is very gratifying.
