Prez Obama...

Forget for a moment that Republican outrage," said King on his CNN show this morning. "More and more Democrats in key 2014 races are calling for the president to get a spine, they say, and fire his Veterans Affairs secretary. And what more and more Democrats are saying privately is scathing, calling the president and his team detached, flat footed, even incompetent.

"Maggie Haberman," said King turning to a panelist, "that's what strikes me, what democrats are saying privately in the wakes of the healthcare.gov problems, they see a president who doesn't want to take command, doesn't want to act fast. Raising the competence question. Some Democrats, who believe in government, [are saying] this White House doesn't appear to have its hand on the lever."

Haberman of Politico agreed, cited more examples, and added: "All of this adds up to somebody who just doesn't seem at all involved."

Deaf Wife... heehee

Ed feared his wife Peg wasn't hearing as well as she used to and he thought she might need a hearing aid.
Not quite sure how to approach her, he called the family doctor to discuss the problem.

The doctor told him there was a simple informal test the husband could perform to give the doctor a better idea about her hearing loss.

"Here's what you do," said the doctor, "Stand about 40 feet away from her, and in a normal conversational speaking tone, see if she hears you.
If not, go to 30 feet, then 20 feet, and so on until you get a response."

That evening, his wife is in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he was in the den.

He says to himself, "I'm about 40 feet away, let's see what happens."

Then, in a normal tone, he asks "Honey, what's for dinner?"

No response.

So the husband moves closer to the kitchen, about 30 feet from his wife, and repeats:
"Peg, what's for dinner?"

Still no response.

Next, he moves into the dining room, where he's about 20 feet from his wife, and asks
"Honey, what's for dinner?"

Again he gets no response.

So he walks up to the kitchen door, about 10 feet away, "Honey, what's for dinner?"

Again there is no response.

So he walks right up behind her, "Peg, what's for dinner?"

"For God's sake Ed, for the FIFTH time, CHICKEN.

Drunk Englishman...

This happened to an Englishman in France who was totally drunk.

The French policeman stops his car and asks the gentleman if he has been drinking. With great difficulty, the Englishman admits that he has been drinking all day, that his daughter got married in the morning to a French man, and that he drank champagne and a few bottles of wine at the reception and a quite few glasses of single malt thereafter.

Quite upset, the policeman proceeds to alcotest (breath test) him and asks the Englishman if he knows under French Law why he is going to be arrested.

The Englishman answers with humour: "No sir, I do not! But while we're asking questions, do you know that this is a British car and my wife is driving... on the other side?"

Why some people dislike O...

We've been told over and over that opposing President Obama's socialist anti-American agenda is due to deep-seated racism and not any conservative values one might hold. Now, the National Public Radio (NPR), of all media outlets, has posted a piece on their blog saying that there might be something more to disliking Obama than just racism. I know, I'm shocked too.

This refreshing revelation from a decidedly left-leaning news source starts out with a great premise:

There's no question we're living in a time of divisive politics, when roughly half the country is likely to hate the president, no matter whom he or she might be.

And back it up with a good quote:

"If any white Democrat had pushed through a billion-dollar stimulus plan and a takeover of the health care industry, he would have been equally detested by conservatives and Republicans," says Whit Ayres, a GOP pollster and consultant.

Continuing with this line of thought, the writer puts in a little historical context. Obama doesn't have a trademark on being hated:

But modern presidents have all triggered strong negative reactions. John F. Kennedy met with rhetoric from the John Birch Society that in some ways mirrors Tea Party responses to Obama. Militia movements expanded and grew during the presidencies of Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, while George W. Bush's presidency inspired hatred on the left and a novel fantasizing about his assassination.

"Bill Clinton was vilified and hated more, with more passion," says David Carney, a Republican consultant. "It was much more personal and negative than anything about Obama."

This is actually true. Clinton was impeached and Obama has not been even though he deserves it more.

Then we get to the heart of the matter, which is Obama's agenda:

It's possible that no Republican would have voted for the Affordable Care Act if it had been promoted by a President Joe Biden or John Edwards.

Possible, nothing. Opposition to socialism is color-blind.

"There's a perception that Obama's major achievement is a transfer from middle-income white people to low-income minorities," says Robert Smith, a San Francisco State University political scientist.

Perception, nothing. ObamaCare is a transfer of wealth from the middleclass to the poor.

But the truly great news is, you can hate Obama because he is an elitist douchebag with contempt for average people and American culture:

He's a product of the Ivy League who did himself no favors in 2008 by dismissing those who differ culturally from him as "bitter" and clinging to their "guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

"He just doesn't relate well to flyover country," says Carney, the Republican consultant. "His eliteness, his disdain for things that are more traditional America is more the reason why he's disconnected to this large portion of the country than his race."

Last week when I wrote If You Didn't Vote For Obama You Are A Racist, I was feeling a little down because I consider myself to be a pretty open-minded guy. Now, thanks to this article I realize I'm not a racist for opposing Obama, just smart. Thanks NPR!

Many years ago, I met this Canadian guy while hiking in Up-State New York. He made a comment on racism that has stuck with me ever since: "There are a million better reasons to hate someone other than the color of their skin. Most people are dicks and the rest of them are <snip>s." Amen.

Obama Gaslighting Us...

You're not crazy. The Obama Administration will just keep GASLIGHTING you until you think you are. Bill Whittle brings his breakout series FIREWALL, complete with a new look, to TruthRevolt Originals.

TRANSCRIPT:

GASLIGHTING

Hi everybody welcome to the Firewall; I'm Bill Whittle.

You ever look out at what's happening in the country these days and think that you must be going crazy since you or at the most, you and a couple of your crazy friends seem to be the only ones who think the whole world has gone mad?

Well, first: you're not alone. Second: you're not crazy. And third: it's not an accident.

This President and his entire administration are Gaslighting the American people, and so far they've done a hell of a job of it.

What does that mean "Gaslighting?"

Well, here's a definition that's as good as any: "Gaslighting is a form of mental abuse in which false information is presented with the intent of making a victim doubt his or her own memory, perception and sanity."

Unquote.

It's a great term. It comes from a movie called "Gaslight," most notably the 1944 version starring Ingrid Bergman and Charles Boyer. The plot centers around a man trying to drive his wife insane by insisting that the things she repeatedly sees and hears Simply. Didn't. Happen. He removes paintings and tells her he saw her take them. He asks her why she doesn't remember things he claims he has told her before.

Well, let's hustle through a few examples.

March, 2012: President Obama was having what he thought was a private conversation with outgoing Russian President Dmitry Med-VEH-dev... But someone left the microphone on. President Obama said he'd basically be willing to hand over our missile defense system developed over decades and at great expense to protect us and our NATO allies so long as the Russians didn't act up and give him any trouble before he could be safely re-elected.

((CLIP))

You've got to hand it to the Russians: Vladimir was as good as his word. They did wait until after his re-election to start their rampant military conquests. Vlad knows who his friends are.

Act two.

For ten days after the terrorist attack on Benghazi an attack which within minutes was clearly a terrorist attack due to RPG fire, prepared firing positions for mortars not to mention taking place on September 11th   Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton, Susan Rice and all the rest said the entire thing was a spontaneous protest against an unknown film that had been on YouTube for months. For over a week they kept up that lie, and this man, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula went to jail for a year for having the audacity to imagine that he had a First Amendment right to say whatever he <snip> well pleased. And when Mitt Romney had Obama literally speechless about it in the second debate, Candy Crowley stepped dutifully forward as the housemaid to corroborate the gaslighting lie and Mitt Romney and you and me all of us looked at each other as if we were loosing our minds.

A protest? About a Movie? Darling, are you all right? We said it was a terrorist attack from day one. Don't you remember?

Gaslighting!

And finally: when attempting the government takeover of a sixth of our economy, Barack Obama said, on camera, no less than 36 times:

((MONTAGE))

But he knew, his staff knew, his advisors knew, his opponents knew, the insurance industry knew, doctors and hospitals knew and anyone with the brain of a squirrel knew that you could not mandate the implementation of the requirements of the Affordable Care Act Obamacare without voiding many, if not most, if not all of the existing health care plans in the country.

He knew! They all knew! And once that law was rammed down the throats of the American people, and the actual, unspinnable, real-world consequences showed up in the form of cancellation notices, he has the nerve to look us right in the eyes and say:

((CLIP))

What? No dear -- he never said if you like your plan, you can keep your plan. Darling, are you all right? You seem a little confused. Are you ill?

Gaslighting! It's Gaslighting! You're not going crazy of course he said what you heard him say.

Oh, by the way: here's one other thing the Wikipedia entry had to say about Gaslighting:

Psychologist Martha Stout states that sociopaths frequently use gaslighting tactics. Sociopaths consistently transgress social mores, break laws, and exploit others, but are also typically charming and convincing liars who consistently deny wrongdoing. Thus, some who have been victimized  by sociopaths may doubt their perceptions.

In the movie, Ingmar Bergman's character is saved when a sympathetic detective notices the gaslights are being dimmed as well. That's all it takes, you see: one other person to see and hear what you are being told you are crazy for claiming to see and hear. That's why as in the movie the victim (that would be us) has to be isolated from other people with different perspectives because all it takes is ONE independent verification of the gaslights dimming and the entire evil, larcenous, cruel, murderous scam falls away to dust.

So here's your verification, so go forth and spread the word. You're not nuts.

He's nuts.

Spineless Obama...

By Kevin "Coach" Collins

Barack Obama's spinelessness seems to have him caught in a pincher.

From his earliest days in public life Barack Obama has done as little as possible. Whenever he has been presented with a choice he will either worm out of the situation, as his disgraceful record of voting "present" shows, or completely ignore the matter at hand.

Obama's spinelessness is most prominent in his refusal to confront the dangers posed by the savages masquerading as "The Religion of Peace."

Faced with a demand to respond to Islamic terror attacks Obama has hidden behind ridiculous insulting language such as calling the Fort Hood murders "work place violence" and ordering that the term "Muslim terror" not be used.

Now a bunch of savages called the Boko Haram, who are following the commands of Sharia Law to murder non-Islamists, have kidnapped some 300 Nigerian school girls and is threatening to sell them into sex slavery or kill them.

During her tenure as Secretary of State, and doubtlessly on orders from Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton steadfastly refused to designate Boko Haram, a group that sees Sundays as "Murder Christians Day," as a terrorist group.

The world sees Boko Haram as Islamic terrorists but Barack Obama doesn't recognize the existence of "Islamist terror" he won't even use the words. This presents a problem for a little man trying to portray himself as a "tough guy" who knows how to deal with terrorists.

Dealing with the Boko Haram will require more than saying how "awful" their kidnapping of the girls is and posting an embarrassing picture of Michelle Obama begging seventh century savages for civility on the internet.

This is one side of the pincher for Obama. The other is the awakening of Gay Hollywood to the savagery of Sharia Law's commandments on homosexuality.

Last Monday a group of Hollywood's "fabulous" people turned out to picket in front of a hotel owned by the Sultan of Brunei because he has implemented Sharia Law in his country. Somehow the truth of what Sharia Law really means has penetrated the liberal haze that hangs over Hollywood. Suddenly all of the pretending that opposition to Sharia Law is something only "mean bigoted conservatives" do is gone. The reality that even under a Republican government, being stoned to death for being Gay doesn't actually happen in America, but it most certainly does happen where Sharia is the law. At last this has gotten through to Hollywood's Gay community and they are taking action.

They're not picketing a conservative radio station; they're picketing a Muslim hotel. Suddenly enlightened they have finally come to understand that supporting the "voting present" president could be dangerous.

"Voting present" won't easily get Obama out of this bind now that his Gay supporters are finally listening to the warnings about Sharia. They may very well succeed where we have failed. Gay Hollywood might be able to force Obama to do something about the threat from Sharia.

Black Americans and the Obama Dilemma
By Patricia L. Dickson

When Black Americans decided that they would throw their full support behind Barack Obama in both of his presidential runs, they set in motion a rolling stone that cannot be stopped. It is foolish and dangerous to give your unyielding support to anyone, let alone someone you know very little about. As a Christian American black female back in 2008, I got in many heated discussions with who I thought were other intelligent Christian black Americans (some were my close friends since childhood). I got the shock of my life when I was yelled at and called all kinds of names by individuals that I thought were both Christians and also my friends. No matter how many facts I presented about candidate Barack Obama's record supporting issues that were contrary to what these individuals claim to be against (e.g. abortion), they were unyielding in their support for the black presidential candidate.

During the 2007-2008 presidential campaign, I was in the military on active duty. I used to sometimes spend my lunch break in the Wing Chaplain's office discussing scriptures with the chaplain. I had a tremendous amount of respect for this chaplain, who happened to be black. He would constantly try to convince me to come and speak at his church (he pastored a church in the community) because I had such in-depth knowledge of the scriptures. Our relationship was going well until the tapes of Rev. Jeremiah Wright surfaced. I had not discussed politics nor Barack Obama's candidacy with him up until that point. I was so offended by the things that Rev. Wright was saying on the tapes and the whole Black Liberation Theology that I brought it up to him.I thought that he (being a Christian pastor) would be just as offended as I was and reject the whole Black Liberation Theology. I was floored by the response that I got from him. He in turn told me that he himself had studied Black Liberation Theology when he was in seminary (he attended Howard University) and he understood where Rev. Wright was coming from because he (the chaplain) too had experienced racism. He then asked if I was supporting Obama. I immediately started laying out the facts about candidate Obama's record on abortion and he got agitated with me. He looked at me and said, "Who am I supposed to support, McCain"? That was the last conversation that I had with him.

Fast forward to May 9, 2012 when President Barack Obama publically stated that his support for gay marriage had "evolved". Black Americans and clergy were privately angry and embarrassed that the first black president came out in support of gay marriage. Nonetheless, blacks could not speak out against the president because no one could know (especially white America) that blacks were in disagreement with the first black president. Every black person that I talked to was angry that President Obama had come out in support of gay marriage, but when I asked them whether or not they were going to vote for him in the upcoming election, they all said "of course". Their rationale was that if blacks did not support Obama, the racist Republicans and the Tea Party would destroy him.

Since Obama has been president, he has overturned Don't Ask Don't Tell allowing gays to openly serve in the military. He has made personal phone calls to both Jason Collins and Michael Sams (both black athletes) congratulating them for coming out of the closet. Black Americans were privately seething with anger and embarrassment after it was reported that the president personally called and congratulated these black athletes for their courage for coming out of the closet. Black Americans did not expect the first black President to support gay marriage. Most blacks are against the homosexual lifestyle, as well as abortion. When you support someone based on the color of his/her skin alone without examining his/her record and character, you cannot help but end up in a dilemma. When you cast aside your so-called Christian faith in exchange for the color of someone's skin, you end up in a dilemma. Barack Obama does not care in the least about black Americans. With the President's horrendous record on everything from the economy, healthcare, to foreign policy, black Americans are hoping that the historians rewrite history to make the falling first Black President a success. However, the one thing that black Americans know that no historian can rewrite is that the first black president did more for the homosexual agenda than any president in history, and that is the dilemma.

A record 92,594,000 Americans were not in the labor force in April as the labor force participation rate matched a 36-year low of 62.8 percent, according to data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In March, according to BLS's non-seasonally adjusted data, there were 91,630,000 Americans not in the labor force. In April, that increased by 964,000 people to an all-time record of 92,594,000. The previous record was 92,534,000, set in January of this year. The BLS's seasonally-adjusted number for people not in the labor force--which was 92,018,00 for April--was also an all-time record. This was up 988,000...
