Colon Clipart

I have quite a few graphics discs I have purchased since I first bought a computer and also once belonged to an alt.binaries clipart group. I can't help but be a packrat and collect what I find, but I really like the odd graphics.

I don't remember where this one came from, but I DO remember that it was the only one like it, there was no stomach or rectum or even one showing the gall bladder. It always struck me funny that it was in the collection all by its lonesome.

I'm not for sure just where my descending colon is in my body, but if I ever see it (or one belonging to someone else) I will recognize it, thanks to this clipart.

It will be orange, and look just like the upper radiator hose on a '67 Fairlane.

Geopolitical Thoughts on 2019

The Pointman, as always, on point and well worth the time to read.  Here's a couple of snippets, but there's a lot more:

The lost ground conceded by the toe-curlingly bad presidency of Barack Obama has largely been recovered by Trump, who unlike Obama when he turns up at foreign summits, is there to kick ass and take names, and to tack on that old punch line as a finisher – he’s fresh out of paper. Obama spent all his time at those international occasions apologising for America’s very existence, and it didn’t go down well at home or in a few places abroad. For instance, such needless grovelling to globalism and various third world and third-rate dictators didn’t exactly engender confidence in places like the old Soviet vassal states who depended on a strong America to protect them from the Russian bear pawing at their borders

His foreign policy outside Europe carries a simple message. America is back and prepared to use its economic and military muscle to claw back the ground and influence lost by the dithering, corrupt and essentially weak Obama administration. While that may sound a bit harsh, the good news is that Trump likes to make deals that are acceptable to all parties concerned, while at the same time, he won’t let America be taken advantage of. Obviously, while there will inevitably be some future alarms and excursion in foreign policy matters, for the moment he’s largely got it settled to his satisfaction.

In Memory of Roy Clark

I was saddened to read that he had passed away. His voice wasn't nearly as strong in this clip as it was when he was younger, but he could still pick a mean guitar.

A Crooked Game

This is what you have to beat when you not only allow the Democrats to use their own deck, but to shuffle and deal the cards.

A Heartwarming Reminder

Beto O'Rourke’s loss to Ted Cruz is a heartwarming reminder that money can’t buy elections

Democratic candidate Beto O’Rourke’s Senate campaign crashed harder Tuesday evening than a speeding Volvo driven by a drunk judge’s son.

Beto spent $59 million (at least, not counting what he and his staffers sent to the migrant caravan) and got 4,018,839 votes in a losing bid. That works out to $14.68 for each LOSING vote.  That was money well-spent, IMHO.  ROFL  Seriously, it probably put several Texas TV stations into the black for the year. (not to mention the hit on the wallets and purses of the Hollywood crowd.  That's what you get for messin' with Texas, celebtards!)

Before the final results were tallied, there was already talk of him running for President in 2020 and some counseling that he run as VP to Joe Biden and be in office for eight years, then eight more years as Pres. after that.  I don't think Biden's liver will hold out for that long, but who knows?

I think whoever came up with THAT idea is drinking some of the same moonshine that Biden and Beto have been drinking.

I got a campaign slogan for them:  "Biden/Beto - Beta Boy Boozers!"

Then there were some comparing him to Kennedy...which I expect they meant John F., but what with his drunk driving conviction and attempt to flee the scene, I am thinking he's more like Teddy K than JFK. I think the "running for President" talk is a little premature and that he should be like Teddy...and drive off that bridge when he comes to it.

If you have any comments, feel free to P.M. me. I will lock this thread in order to keep the Persian Pansy from vandalizing it.

A Ton of Hillary

I saw something about Hilary wanting to be President, so I went to Google News to see the newest articles about it and saw a headline from the OregonLive website that had just the first part of the actual headline.  Circled is the shortened headline that caught my eye:

Before I read the article, I thought "Where's she getting her pantsuits made now? From old Barnum & Bailey circus tents?

Hold Your Horses!

I mean hold your NOSE around horses!

Growing up in Texas, I've always heard "A fartin' horse never tires." but if that's true, then why are these horses sleeping?

I think someone fed these horses some hominy, maybe some pinto beans.  Those foods always did my ex that way after she fell asleep.

The next morning:  "Why did you sleep on the couch?"

"Oh, I was just having trouble falling asleep and didn't want to bother you." I'd tell her...that was better than admitting I didn't want to be asphyxiated in my own bed.  I used to think I'd bring home one of the "sour gas" (hydrogen sulfide) alarms from the drilling rig for those "noxious nights".

From Soup to Nuts

Campbell Soup Co. Executive Is Out After Tweeting George Soros Conspiracy Theory

A Campbell Soup Company executive who tweeted about conspiracy theories involving former hedge fund manager George Soros is no longer with the company, a spokesperson confirmed to Gizmodo. Campbell’s vice president of government affairs Kelly Johnston tweeted Monday that Soros’ Open Society Foundations was providing aid to a migrant caravan currently making its way to the Mexican border, a claim Open Society says is baseless.

Origin of the subject title: "Soup to nuts" is an American English idiom that conveys the meaning of "from beginning to end". It is derived from the description of a full course dinner, in which courses progress from soup to a dessert of nuts.

Of course, I mean it to be a play on words, what with the soup executive getting fired for having an opinion - one I and many, many others happen to agree with - and how nuts this PC culture is, and the nuts that fired Johnston. I don't eat a lot of canned soup, but I won't be having any Campbells ever again.

Connect with Campbells  I did.

No Need for a Mirror

You can observe a leftist in action.

The funny thing is they'll keep going back and doing the same thing over and over and over again...

And blaming their pain on Trump, of course.
