I just wanted to tell you all that the spam callers have stooped to a new low to try to get us to answer our phones...just got one for the first time from a cell phone...it said wireless caller and had a no. I did not recognize so I did not answer so this time they left a message...it was about wanting me to get a warranty for my SUV which they have tried every way there is to get in touch with me by mail and phone....one time I did answer and told them to never call me again but of course that did not work.

Just wanted to tell you about this in case you've not had anyone call from a cell phone to harrass you with spam...well it could have been from a land line phone & they just typed in wireless caller since they can put anything they want there...just now thought of that!

Think I will look up the no. and see if I can find it online anywhere!

Late yesterday afternoon around 4:30 pm I was going to make a sandwich for an early supper...some call it

dinner...anyway I was using some greek pita bread for a wrap and decided I wanted to toast the bread

first so put it in the oven and turned on the broiler.

THEN I was thinking a baked potato would be good with it so got out a potato and got a fork and held the potato in my left hand down on the kitchen counter and a fork in the right hand and slammed down the fork in what I thought was the potato so it would bake quicker in the microwave...well I missed some of the potato and a prong slammed into my left thumb...SO now all this time the bread is toasting so I go in the bathroom and fixed it up then realized I forgot to pour peroxide on it so took off the band-aid an poured it on then put the antibiotic cream on and started back towards the kitchen.

AND THEN all of a sudden the smoke alarm started screaming to the top of it's lungs (if it has lungs)...long story short the bread was burning big time so I did have sense enough to cut off the oven and wait a minute before I opened the door but when I did the bread was on fire but I picked up the pan with a cloth and put it in the sink and turned on the water and it smelled really strong...can still smell it some this morning.

After it cooled a little I took it out on the balcony and sat it down...ended up later throwing the pan away cause it was burnt so bad I could not scrape it clean.

If it was not for that smoke alarm my apt would have caught on fire for sure because when I got distracted by putting the fork in my thumb I completed forgot the bread was in the oven.

I got out a fan and put it in the kitchen and an air-cleaning machine & sprayed air cleaner but the smell would not go completely away...it was raining a little but I opened the door and all of the windows too.

Telling you all about this so you will be careful while you're cooking because it's so easy to get distracted...usually I stay right by the stove when I'm toasting bread but I was distracted when I slammed down the fork in my thumb and missed part of the potato.

...realized later I could have heated the bread in the microwave for a minute and it would have been just as good and much safer since I had the accident with the fork!...live and learn!

After I calmed down I did make the sandwich and baked the potato but I have a big bandage on my thumb...it did not bleed all that much, more bruised than anything else....told my neighbor about it and she wanted me to

make sure I had a tetanus shot so will call the dr. this morning to see for sure...think I have had one.

Betcha I don't put any more fork holes in a potato when I toasting bread in the oven ever again...oh after all of that I was bound and determined to bake the potato to have with my sandwich and I did & the meal was good but my nerves weren't.

This could really stir up some controversy but I feel like this anyway & always have so decided to post it here too.

I do want to say I do love Lottery Post very much and read a lot on here...it's all very interesting but I want to know if I'm the only one on here that thinks luck plays a big part in winning!

I definitely think it's mostly luck winning at the lottery!

How can anyone predict numbers that are blowing around in a machine to tell you which ones

are going to come to the top for a winner?

AND computer picks are even worse!

Even knowing that for sure I still play...that's the crazy part!

Those who predict a lot of numbers (myself included with my fat cat list) are going to get lucky

and get some hits but the list had nothing to do with it...it was sheer luck!

There are 10 numbers 0123456789 & when you mix them up some are going to get together

and hit for you and then you can take the credit with your predictions!

Don't want to bring anyone down because I still enjoy playing p3 and posting all kinds of things

on the NC thread "hoping" something will hit!

Also I like to keep it simple as I possibly can...all of the post above are way over my head!

I bought a cash 5 qp one time and got 4 of them right...the numbers were listed as they came

out of the machine and that was sheer luck nothing but sheer luck and just missed playing a cash 5 qp

back to get 4 right not long ago...should have done it but who knew...not me!

I just saw this on the news...can't get over it...I eat regular salad but know some friends who eat this kind.

Wish I had had someone take a picture of me and the geese today but didn't think of it till afterwards or I would have posted it here.

Anyway I was at a discount store I dearly love to go to in a shopping strip and you can go around behind the stores and miss a lot of traffic so I do that a lot of times but when I did today there was only one goose back there.

...usually there are a lot so I stopped & gave him some of my peanut butter & crackers....guess he must have gone and told his brothers and sisters because when I came out of the store they were all waiting for me...must have been at least 35 or 40 of them everywhere & I was so afraid someone was going to hit one of them but there is a law here that here so you have to stop for them but some people get real impatient with them.

Anyway since I felt like it was my fault for starting the whole mess with my giving the one goose some of my snack and he told his whole crew about it that I had better take care of the situation.

I had about 8 or 9 peanut butter and crackers left so started mashing them up and throwing some to them after I drove my truck (SUV) over to the middle of the parking lot where nobody was at...here they come just running as

fast as their little legs would let them so I was throwing crumbs to them and motioning for the cars to come on by with my other hand...it was a site to see...lol

Well wouldn't you know it the darn snacks ran out and here I am standing there with I know around 40 geese honking at me saying we want more crackers & I tried to explain there were no more...I had just bought my new kitty cat some treats in the store and be darned if I was going to give them those.

...so I got in my truck and drove to where you stop for the traffic to come in and put my window down and every car that came by I yelled out for them to slow down there are geese back there and they looked at me like who is the world is this nut but they did slow down but I knew I had to leave as there was nothing else I could do....I had no more crackers with me and was not giving them those expensive cat treats.

People in this town know we have geese everywhere or they should know it so I said a little prayer that nobody would hit one of them and maybe they would go back behind the store where there was a pond nearby and maybe they would jump in and cool off...The Good Lord will take care of them like he does me every day for sure!

Yesterday I decided to start physical therapy for my back so had an appt at 2pm....well just before it was time to go my neighbor downstairs called me and said another neighbor was trying to shoot a snake in the breezeway down there so dumb me opens the door and hollers downstairs and say on my goodness is there a snake down there and he said yes I'm shooting him with my BB gun.

...thank God I found out it was not a real gun..long story short he said he killed him...I'd had rather he just let him crawl away in the bushes because it looked like one I'd seen last year a brown kinda short snake but don't know what kind.

A couple of years ago I was about to step down on the last step to go to my car and almost stepped on a big long black snake I had thought was a stick and when I hollered real loud it scared the wits out of him and he crawled off but I made sure he was gone before I went to my car...he had crawled in some bushes to hide from me...lol

Well I was driving on the way to my PT session and my SUV started shaking all over and I thought what in the Hell is going to happen next so pulled into the Auto Zone store and parked and realized I had been driving with the emergency brake up...the snake had unnerved me so forgot to put it down....anyway I asked the man who was looking under the hood of a car would that make my vehicle shake and he said yes and if I did not have any red lights on everything was probably ok...so I got back out on the street and proceeded to go to my session and made it ok!

Needless to say I got to my appt. with only one minute to spare and I was all excited telling the lady at the front desk all about what had happened and told her I was lucky I made the appt....she said oh yes you have one minute left...thought she would have sympathized with me a little bit but she didn't.

But some days are like that aren't they?

Look at this qp that I did not play back for last night!

5 20 25 & 29 are on that qp in order as they hit last night.

I won with 4 one time and they were also in order but never did it again!

Bet I play my qp's back from now on...don't buy many but when I do I will.

This was found in my neighbors outside dryer vent....I kept seeing a bird take straw inside it so called the association mgmt. for help and sure enough a bird had built a nest and it was twice as much as this in there...this was just the nest.

Sure hated to do that to the little bird but it could have caused a fire to leave it stopped up with the nest.

Couldn't believe the bird had already laid 2 eggs in there!
