Yay for me! Won 3 more with the "bad odds" cards today!

Guess I'm going to have to start calling these the "good odds" cards because they are for me...won on 3 of them today for $250...got 2 winners out of a machine in a grocery store and the other one in another store over the counter.

This makes me very happy!

Another "Bad Odd" card win & another win!

Won another $100 on this "bad odds" card today...good thing cause I lost by one at p3...thought I'd won $110 on it but then realized I scratched off a 22 at the bottom right side thinking it was another 23!Big Grin Angel

Also won $100 on this $5 one a couple of days ago.

I just love those "bad odds" cards...they have really been lucky for me to have such bad odds to win!

Woo-Hoo Hoo...another win on the "bad odds" card!

Well I went to another Harris Teeter today and bought this one (the bad odds card) out of the machine & won $50 this time but took a chance on the $20 one and won $100 on it thank goodness!

The odds of winning $50 is 1:9:45

And of winning $100 is 1:25.53

These are the worst odds of any card NCEL has but they sure have been lucky for me!

You can only win $50 or $100 on these cards...no other amount.

Kept looking at the $20 card & it said..."buy me"...SO I did!

Thank you NCEL, these wins sure make me happy...one day I'm going to get the BIG one....how about tonight with the Mega Millions tickets...I have 2 of them one I picked and the other one is a QP!

As President Trump says all the time..."we'll see"!Big Grin Angel

Woo Hoo...another bigger one!

Won $40 on the p3 ticket today...it was 895 & I got it boxed and bought another one of the "bad odds" cards and won $100 this time....just had a feeling it would be there & it was!...also got $20 on the new $5 card!

Thanks goodness for these wins...let's dance little kitty cat!

I had 589 on my "real short" list for January but don't think anybody pays any attention to it but I do!

So that's good for me and the kitty cats!

Woo Hoo!...got another "bad odds" card win!

Looked at the lottery machine & something told me to buy one of the "bad odds" cards so I did...didn't want to part with my $10 but glad I did when I scratched it off...then bought a couple of the new $5 ones so got $70 in all.

Made me feel better for losing at p3 with one I had been playing & didn't yesterday because I played in a hurry and didn't come home to look at my notes...bet I don't do that again...cold or not cold!

Playing pick 3 the right way!

I played 307 on 12-20 & it hit that way but played it boxed...did it again yesterday with 661 & it hit just like that!

Lots of pictures like that on Jordan's thread where we post our winning pictures.

He started it for me or it looks like he did with his first post...I thought it would be too much trouble but found out it wasn't ...now there are over 300 posts of others winning pictures posted there.

https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/216513/1693276

I was accused of working for the lottery one time because I got so many exactly right but played them boxed...don't know how they came to that conclusion...I thought it was funny.

I started posting my winning pictures a few years ago after being accused of lying about winning...think I probably was the first one to do that.

...also someone criticized me for playing a lot of 50 cent tickets so I felt like I had to post some pictures of combo's and dollar ones so they would know I do play them but they just weren't hitting for me...don't know why I felt the need to defend my playing style but I did....don't even know these people so why did I worry about it in the first place...this is a new year & I will do my own thing and not worry at all about such nonsense!

Still have yesterday's winning ticket at least haven't given any back....going to keep that $80 & play real light with money I have saved to play the lottery with.

What I need to do is play just 6 numbers & play them big over & over but so afraid I'll miss out on a winner I play more at a lower amount & and ones I feel really good about for more...then why didn't I do that yesterday...live & learn...maybe!

I know someone who plays the same numbers every day over and over and when one hits it hits big...but they spend a lot of money every day so when I asked about it they said well it's money I won so then it made sense.

SO if one could just get one great big hit then they could get going playing like that I guess...have to do a lot of thinking about how to play in 2018 so I can get ahead in this game!

I was a receptionist in a car dealership when the lottery started in NC and those salesmen there taught me how to play & if I spent over $3 and lost I was devastated but now $3 does not sound like much...funny how it creeps up on you like that when you start to win.

Good luck to everybody who reads this and plays the great game of pick3.

Hungover cats & "my" experiences!

Come on now you party goers of last night...shake it off and get out of that bed & get going!

I remember the day when I actually got on top of a table at our local country club one New Year's eve & danced...thought I was having a great time but now know I probably wasn't...Big Grin Angel...my ex would say the next morning....do you know what you did!

I would always say yes....but it was a little "fuzzy" if you know what I mean!Crazy

I used to find the best thing for a hangover was to drink a beer the next morning...don't sound too good but it worked for me!...don't have that problem any longer thank goodness but to each his own!....live & learn!

Let's all try to get along with each other this year & let bad things go...no need to hold grudges...I did it for a long time and now I just pray for the person who does me wrong and let it go...let them hold the grudges not me even though my first response is to "get them back" for hurting me really bad.

I found out you sure can't judge a book by it's cover though I am pretty good at it but now and then one slips thru the cracks who I thought was "genuine" & it hurts to learn they are not!

You trust someone completely then they turn out to be a "grinch"...oh well another lesson learned....hopefully the last one!....but I do believe God lets you keeping having them until you finally "get it"...for sure & when there's nothing left in this life to learn he will take you home to be with him forever & there will be NO pain there for sure...(no grinches there)...but then again from the looks of it some are taken before they learn & I wonder what happens to them!

I have actually seen an angel...will post about it sometime...for sure in human form & looked back in my car windows really good AND got out of the car and he was gone after helping me at night on a lonely road by myself driving and was lost years ago....this is true!

Quotes about bullies!

“Show respect to people who don’t deserve it; not as a reflection of their character but as a reflection of yours.” – Dave Willis

Fighting means you could lose. Bullying means you can't. A bully wants to beat somebody; he doesn't want to fight somebody -Anerew Vachss

“The common mistake that bullies make is assuming that because someone is nice that he or she is weak. Those traits have nothing to do with each other. In fact, it takes considerable strength and character to be a good person.” – Mary Elizabeth Williams

“You will never reach higher ground if you are always pushing others down.” – Jeffrey Benjamin

It is our choices … that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” – J.K Rowling

Bullying consists of the least competent most aggressive employee projecting their incompetence on to the least aggressive most competent employee and winning.” – Tim Field

My sweet little kitty cat!

Here's one of my little kitty cats....her name is Priscilla and I call her Prissy!

SO little kitty cat why couldn't we have played 307 straight today like it hit instead of boxed!

I could have bought you & Shaka (my other shelter cat who looks just like Prissy) a lot more cat food & treats for Christmas!

BUT we did get $50 on the scratch card so that's good!

Prissy loves this little Christmas beanie bear!...they were soaking up some sun thru the window this morning!

Some thoughts for today

How to improve your luck!

This article was in the US Edition of the guardian

I thought it was interesting!

How to improve your luck and win the lottery twice (possibly)

And guess what – it has nothing to do with how many tickets you buy

British couple celebrate winning second £1m EuroMillions prize

David and Kathleen Long scoop their second million in as many years, plus a luxury car, and say they always believed they would do it again

A few years ago I conducted a large-scale investigation into luck. I studied the lives of more than 400 people who considered themselves exceptionally lucky or unlucky. There was remarkable similarity among the volunteers, with the lucky people always being in the right place at the right time, while the unlucky volunteers experienced one disaster after another.

I asked everyone to keep diaries, complete personality tests and take part in experiments. The results revealed that luck is not a magical ability or the result of random chance. Nor are people born lucky or unlucky.

Instead, lucky and unlucky people create much of their good and bad luck by the way they think and behave. For example, in one study we asked our volunteers to look through a newspaper and count the number of photographs in it. However, we didn’t tell them that we had placed two lucky opportunities in the newspaper. The first opportunity was a half-page advert clearly stating: “STOP COUNTING. THERE ARE 43 PHOTOGRAPHS IN THIS NEWSPAPER.” While a second advert later on said: “TELL THE EXPERIMENTER YOU’VE SEEN THIS AND WIN £150.”

The lucky people tended to be very relaxed, more likely to see the bigger picture, and so quickly spotted these opportunities. In contrast, the unlucky people tended to be very anxious, more focused on detail, and so missed the advertisments. Without realising it, both groups had created their own good and bad fortune.

Eventually we uncovered four key psychological principles at work in lucky people:

1. They create and notice opportunities by building a strong social network, developing a relaxed attitude to life, and being open to change.

2. They tend to often listen to their intuition and act quickly. In contrast, unlucky people tend to overanalyse situations and are afraid to act.

#2 works for me

3. They are confident that the future will be bright, and these expectations become self-fulfilling prophecies because they help motivate lucky people to try even when the odds are against them. Unlucky people are sure that they will fail and so often give up before they have begun.

4. They are highly resilient, and keep going in the face of failure and learn from past mistakes. Unlucky people get dragged down by the smallest of problems and take responsibility for events outside of their control.

I like #4 too

Lucky people tend to be very relaxed, more likely to see the bigger picture

In a second phase of the project, I wanted to discover whether it was possible to change people’s luck. I asked a group of 200 volunteers to incorporate the four key principles into their lives by thinking and behaving like a lucky person. The results were remarkable. Within a few months around two-thirds of the group became happier, healthier and more successful in their careers.

But is it possible to use these techniques to win the lottery? Unfortunately not. Lotteries are purely chance events, and no amount of wishful thinking will influence your chances of success. However, the good news is that being lucky in your personal life and career is far more important than winning the lottery.

Oh, and one last tip. If you are feeling bad about never hitting the jackpot, spare a thought for Maureen Wilcox who, in 1980, bought tickets for both the Massachusetts lottery and the Rhode Island lottery. Incredibly Maureen managed to choose the winning numbers for both lotteries. Unfortunately her Massachusetts numbers won the Rhode Island lottery and her Rhode Island numbers won the Massachusetts lottery. She didn’t win a penny.
