$6.5 Million is just the lump sum. you have to pay 25% federal tax on that so you get $4.875 MM. So he ended up with slightly over $6 MM total.

2014 Highest Winner: $500

That guy smashing those jackpots like he means business. Do it for the rest off us who have been playing for years and winning nothing.

      Yay!

I agree. Im just waiting to hear about the person who wins a 3rd Top Prize =) I have heard of people winning 2, but never 3. Not sure if its been done before.

Although most would stop after the first & 2nd especially, but I wouldnt be surprised if someone did it 3 times.

I'm positive he has a scratch system...

        And I always thought 10 +3 = 14

        1+1 can equal 2, 10, or even 11. 10+3 always equals 13.

        FWIW, 10-3 can equal 21.

Maybe he should refuse the 6.5mil???...Then he wouldn't have to pay them darn taxes!!!..

This got me thinking... how much is he SPENDING on these scratch-offs?? I think that may be the key. And he's probably spending more now that he has more money. He could go broke soon.

Yet... I do like the fact that it is being proven you can win more than once. Several people have proven that!!

And the fact he won the $500 while waiting to claim his money, reminded me of an event that happened in PA: a guy won a Harley in a scratch-off. PA decided to have him in a commercial to advertise the scratch-off, so they asked him to buy another one and they would film him scratching it off as he walked out the store door. Well, he started hooting and hollaring, as they filmed and they said "Cut! That was awesome!!" But he wouldn't stop -  He had scratched off the top winner - $1 million dollars!!

                  How's that for karma?
