Maybe Tennessee should do what Kentucky does.. The people here in Kentucky don't go into those types of stores, gas stations etc.. We just had a Marathon close last week with a owner from another country.. Only go to American owned stores.............. wake up Tennessee... You go to those stores you deserve what you get.

gas stations are lazy person way.

in tn, kroger and publix sell tickets in stores also around here.

i always buy my tickets at my local kroger anyway, , and yet to have a person cashing my winning tickets try to scam me out of it

it must be the hard fact, i can call over manager in such a place,  and start bitchin if they ever did try to pull a fast one.  sense grocery store managers don't like having their customers scammed by their workers.

them  places  have a way of keeping  their act clean,  happy customers return.

plus if 1 in trillion odds hit and you do win powerball, kroger donates money they get for selling winning mm.pb ticket to local charites,

so would you rather have a gas station owner who hires these clowns get some money off your luck, or some local charities , the point am making is,

when your shopping for your food, also use time to get lottery tickets their,  as its safest place in my personal Experience to cash winners. and you never get sorry its to much to cash   ,if its like 100 bucks ish winner, as  trust me, they have the freaking cash sitting around.

Hate to say it, but it doesn't matter red yellow black or white...Or brown. Greed makes them all see Green and they'll take it any way they can.

Caveat emptor... And that's in any line of business, lottery or not.

I'm assuming this is why we have very noticable sounds and lights on our lottery machine where I work at. I've noticed when tinkering around in the lottery machine that the machine has a sound and light control, but you can't turn them off, only perform diagnostics.

Sounds like you were trying to turn them off.

Is your name Shawn O'Patel by any chance?

Yeah I'd like to know this too.

I'm speculating that either the real winner had in fact signed the ticket and Patel was too stupid to realize this
                  Or
The real winner started 'to feel' something was off and contacted the TNEL.

hopefully somebody knows and can enlighten us.
