College Lad once again....new account, for sum odd reason my collegelad08 account was suspended due to posting of links....i had all of six post with that account and not one single link was posted nor any othe rules were broken.....I dont want to blame todd for the occurance since he leads the masses of LP, but i was extremely heated becuase ive been wanting to coment on this topic all day Mad......well, good luck to all on fridays MM draw....got my 3 QP's

There nothing wrong with standing your ground especially if you think you have been wrong . I am not taking up for Todd but I can't see him doing that . Maybe taking down something you wrote, he deem offense to others maybe. Not the account, but that just my opinon.Good luck with this new one.Approve

500 million is alot of money, im sure by friday we will see well over 550 million. What if one sole ticket wins and that person never claims it....Would many of you be pissed or relived that "your jackpot" wasnt claimed. Idk, i'd be kinda pissed ta know that a 500 million dollar prize went unclaimed...anywho, my secret lotter formula goes as such....in my small college town i play 2$ qp's at different lottery retailers, everytime i get an inkling to buy one (never do i repeat retailers in one draw) so far my payout over a 4-5 month period has been 8$. My strategy  sucks...help.....Oh, and i here picking your own numbers are better than QP's, supposedly cuz qp machines always run the same numbers every 750 tickets, again, im new to the lottery so i dont quite knw the truth in this.

Nope, got 10 advance plays on each ticket so the drive won't be needed.  Wink

I don't think I've ever seen a winner that had purchased advanced/multi/future-draws.  I just find that a bit strange that it always seems to be someone who bought their ticket since the last draw.

Has anyone else ever noticed if a multi-draw ticket (and it was bought prior to the previous draw; e.g., two weeks before) has ever won the jackpot?

Thanks, and idk if you can search my CollegeLad08 post, but if u were just so bored to do so, you'll see i didnt say anything negative. my main point in finally creating an account on her was to give the perspective of a new lotter player who happens to be a college student. but what ever mistake occured, occured, the only thing i didnt like was the email that stated i had been warned and ignored the warnings when i had been a member for all of 6 hours....but ehh, im back, and thanks for the reply.

Trust me we have said a lot worst (we as in some other members) and I had a posting remove but not the closing of the account when your new and not a advance member you privilege can be limited.

Don't believe everything you hear. QP's win statistically 70+% of jackpots over personal picks.

Since he plays often he should know QPs win a lot.

It is good to be positive, but like I said in the other thread I hope you are all ready for the huge let down and coming back down off of those clouds back to reality once you don't win. I have seen the same posts over and over for 8 years now here. I would not be surprised if we never even found out who won it, which only creates more suspicion about whether the lottery is fixed or not. Winners don't want to be known but losers demand proof, it is a vicious cycle. I used to get my hopes up too years ago but after the same mundane results over and over again it got old. So at least now I am no longer disappointed. I am trying out a new strategy of praying that I "don't win" so that way I will be right and win as opposed to completely lose. Or I might be totally wrong and win which is even better...

It won't be a huge let down for me, this is fun!! The journey is exciting and chatting

and reading all the posts!! The thing is there is always another chance to win again (maybe

at this high amount), isn't that what it's all about? Another chances to win? There are still millions

out there to be won everyday :)

You sound like you've made peace with the lottery Gods. Some people do take playing the lottery too seriously and that is not healthy. It upsets me when I find out a child is hungry because his/her parents gambled at least half their paycheck on lottery games. Many do not have their priorities in order and it's unfortunate.

Granted winning a huge jackpot is life changing but risking your families well being in order to chase a dream is mind boggling.

The lottery is an extremely high risk game and only a fraction who play it will be rewarded with a substantial prize. I will spend a few bucks when the jackpot gets to these levels and I treat it like a 50/50 raffle. With that kind of mindset you won't be dissapointed if you don't win.

Definitely! Take care of yourself and your family first and try not to take this game too seriously even with an unprecedented record jackpot. You do have to participate in order to have ANY chance and the odds are indeed overwhelming.

With the jackpot this high, I wouldn't surprise to see some spend the bulk of their paycheck ($1,000 or more) this Friday. Sad part is waking up saturday morning realizing you didn't win and you don't have enough money left for gas or food. Unhappy
