So what if she pissed a lot of money away? You're only young once and may never get the chance to have that kind of fun again.I'm pretty sure if she does get the opportunity to have that kind of money again she'll be a little wiser with it.I know if I had access to that amount of money at her age I would have pissed it away, too. When I was young I didn't think that I'd get old and really didn't care what people said or thought,it was all about having fun.I lived to have fun and with that amount of cash I'd  have lots of fun.Now that I'm older and wiser,I'd be more conservative with it and plan on it lasting the rest of my life.I'd still have my toys, but the toys would be different than the toys I'd have bought when I was younger and there'd be less of them.I think she will do just fine.

I just want to make certain that I understand your post full and well here, okay. This isn't to be argumentative or anything like that either. So, at six-teen (16) years old while you're probably still living at home, you come into that kind of money and NO ONE in your family has sense enough, or, the wherewithawl to help you NOT BLOW IT??? I mean, no one seems to have told her, "Hey sweety, we're gonna let you spend a little and enjoy it, but we're gonna put the most of it away so you can go to college later if you'd like and get a nice house to live in. You have no bills right now, no bad credit, no responsibilities, and this is a heck of a way to begin your life, dear!!!!! I wish I would've had such an opportunity!!!!!"

Can you feel where I'm going with this? Every one around her seems to have helped her to spend and blow the money...and I actually fault those around her of age and maturity for allowing it happen. That's where my sympathy comes in at. No one thought about her future at all. She couldn't think about it because she couldn't see the future...all she saw was right now and all that money to play with. You have to really dissect things before elaborating sometimes.

I'd really like to think that SOMEONE in your circle of friends and family would've stepped up to help save your future in a situation like this. Just sayin' and no harm intended.

That's great that she's happy, but she will probably never forgive herself for wasting millions. No fromer winner who lost it all does, but you cannot cry over spilled milk. I just wish America allowed this. I'm sure many parents as well as the teens would love this. No, this does not always have to turn negative. Your kid can send him or herself to school if they still won't to go. Parents can also retire early. Younger siblings futures can also be secure.

I'm sure you would have handled it much better if you were in her situation back when you were her age. Don't be bitter and jealous now.

As for the picture comments uhh... From some quick digging and looking at the source... Those pictures are old, I remember the first one from an older story, the image of her holding the novelty check is from when she was 16, the other from a couple years ago. I wonder why Todd didn't use the new ones of her semi-nude and pregnant. LOL Also, they forgot to mention the hideous tattoo. Puke

Anyway, if her life has turned for the better than good for her.

          You can't predict random.

Hey, I'm sorry to hear that, okay. Thanks for not reading into it and taking it the wrong way also. I kinda figured that at the age she was, and then to end up broke, no one was around to help control the money being spent. I wish I knew how long it took for her (them) to go through all that money now. Take it easy, buddy.

I agree.  Some years ago she was featured on E!'s "The Curse of the Lottery" and I don't remember anyone saying they cared about her well being. I have it on DVD so I would have to watch it again to be sure.
