BRAINTREE, Mass. — The Massachusetts State Lottery has announced that there will be new drawing times for The Numbers Game, Mass Cash and Keno games.

According to Christian Teja of the Mass. State Lottery, the new drawing times will start on Sunday, October 26th.

The Numbers Game

The Sunday evening drawing will move an hour later, from 6:57 p.m. to 7:57 p.m.  Betting pools for the Lottery's mainstay game will close at 7:45 p.m.  As a result of this change, The Numbers Game's evening drawing will take place at the same time seven nights a week.  The game's midday drawing remains at 12:55 p.m. daily.

Mass Cash

Drawings for this game, which is also drawn seven nights a week, will move to 10:00 p.m., from its current 11:00 p.m. slot.  Mass Cash betting pools will close each night at 9:45 p.m.

Keno

The first drawing on Sundays will take place at 10:00 a.m., two hours earlier than it is presently.  Keno's first draw Monday through Saturday remains at 5:04 a.m.

Massachusetts's Keno game is a "quick draw" style game in which winning numbers are drawn approximately every four minutes.

Massachusetts Lottery results are published on Lottery Post's Massachusetts Lottery Results page soon after each drawing.

Of the three draw games in the article, I only play Mass Cash. I don't like change but I also think it's a good thing that draw times have been brought forward.

The Massachusetts lottery offers a subscription service, which is available across the US. You don't have to be a resident of Massachusetts to participate.

We all get a lot out of lotteries!

      Good luck players.

Did you exchange a walk on part in the war ?

For a lead role in a cage?

never understood the sunday nite 1 hour earlier deal. they were losing revenue for sure by cutting it off an hour early. the churches are screaming about the 10:00 am sunday keno start. husbands throughout the state will now be dropping off the wife and kids at church and heading for the nearest convenience store to degenerate bet keno instead of throwing cash away into the collection plate. they say families that pray together stay together. so i don't see this as a beneficial plus for the church vs state ongoing battle for gambling revenue. the lottery already has all but wiped out the church's bingo games and now they are after the sunday morning residual flow of cash that churches licked their chops over that was thrown in loose in the collection plate. that cash will now be fritted away on keno.

I am curious as to why you think that it is a good idea that the draw times for Mass Cash have been brought forward by 1 hour.  Would you care to elaborate?   Thanks.

I try to go to bed by 10:30pm so it's good to know if my Mass Cash ticket is a winner or loser before I go to bed. I sleep better knowing
