Lucky folks !!!

BTW   I'm 6'2 "  and I also fit in mine pretty good . In fact I cant barley touch the front floorboard with my left foot . Plenty of room .

My husband is 6'3" and our C2 Corvette fits him just as nice as the C7 version but that is where the similarities end. The new models are awesome and beat ours hands down in every category with the exception of looks...our 66 convertible is still sexier.

We should never assume that all that play the lottery need to worry about money!  It can just be icing on the cake and they can spend it anyway they want.

Congratulations to the winner and I hope his wife enjoys her car!

I agree. Without knowing their financial situation most folks here can only speculate whether it was a wise decision to splurge over 25% of their net winnings on a very nice vehicle that no doubt his wife will love and enjoy.

Surprised at the negative posts on here.  He won and wants to do something nice for his wife--why not?

Congrats to the winner and his wife :)

I Agree!  My Husband just told me he would have got me one too. Then he would have gotten him a Harley Davidson Truck lol.  Congrads to the both of them.

If he's working for Richard Childress Racing he can probably afford it. It's a NASCAR team. Anyone ever hear of a guy named Dale Earnhardt? The father and son both drove for RCR at one time.

Right. He probably only paid the invoice price from one of his dealerships.

A quarter of your money right away on a car, seems wise...

"Wifey not happy, you caveman from Bedrock not happy". If all the wife needed was a Vette, I'd say let's go pick out the best we can find.

He can do something nice for his wife, by providing long-term financial security, not by short-term gratification!

We all get a lot out of lotteries!

You have a nice husband and must be a really great wife.

Bcuz no wife of mines will ever get a corvette from my 300k lotto win. Maybe a CHevy  Chevette but not a brand new corvette never.

I had a 78 and at 6'0" this is one of very few cars I didn't need the seat back almost far as it will go.

My Opel GT (mini vette) also has enough leg room for someone taller,

the difference is when your that big your shoulders feel a little cramped.

On a sad note to Vette lovers, a close friend's garage recently burned to the ground,

in it was a 61 sharknose Vette that he owned for 43 years.

Well, after reading all the negative posts by people that have no clue about this person, or his finances I had to comment.

Who do you think you are? Would ya'll ever accept a total stranger telling you what to buy, or if you are spending your money foolishly? I think not.

He works for a NASCAR racing team, so it's obvious he and his wife are into cars. He came into found money, good for him that he spent some on his wife. If she didn't want a corvette, he would have spent it on something she did want.

Eh, he can do as he pleases but personally I wouldn't buy a car that expensive unless I won a jackpot that netted me at least $25 million after taxes.  I will not be that lottery winner who goes broke!

What's nice is that I could drive any sports car regardless of size, that's the nice thing about being 5'8"
