O well. Guess I'll have to put that Toyota Rav4 with remote start on hold until next time. At least I won't have to play for a while.

The US has around 300 million people and LP has less than 200K.   The probability that the winner is a LP member

is less than  .00066666666666666666666666666666667.  They may of never even heard of LP so I don't expect

that any one of them will post here.

Not sure why people have the post Powerball blues (Blue Powerballs), the jackpot will rise high (400 million+) again eventually, maybe even by March if not sooner.

That is, if they still have money left to play with.

Yep post lottery loss depression. All that dreaming which lead to nothing except going back to their mundane realities. Sucks going from a super, lotto, fever, high to a super, lotto, losing, low. But I got used to it long ago. It is what you expect after awhile yet you still hope for the big win. The horrible weather only makes it worse.

Yes, I'm well acquainted with that loss depression.

I should be used to it, but I'm NOT.

I'm madder and sadder than hell.

Is it just me that thinks its so cool that over 80 people matched 5, and that over 900 won $50,000?  I think that is so awesome! How exciting for all those people!

What a way to start out the year!

I didn't win a dime, but I am glad the wealth seemed to have been spread out to so many people!

            Post lottery depression ?

Yea, I think I felt that a little...I only had a lousy $2 in it.

I can't imagine how bad someone who spent $100 or more feels.

That was the first ticket I bought since the last matrix change.

Guys, play a couple lines and hope for the best.  The reset is 40 million with a cash value of 24.8 million

so even after taxes it's enough to set one up for life.  $15 million is still a lot full of money, if you need

more than that then I think you have good reason to be depressed.

i think any jackpot is a good jackpot. I'd be happy to win the minimum! What a helpful tool it would be to make life easier, so I could spend more time doing what I enjoy doing! I'd have no problem "living within my means" with 15 million!

Nope, F them. LOL I don't congratulate any of them and never have, they would not me either. Also in 11 years on here not ONCE did I ever see one show up on here and say "Thank you!" LOL All the winners most likely never read any congrats posts on here. They would not give a crap about this site or anyone on it and you would never see a dime. So if it's not me I could care less. I may congratulate a member though on here and have done that before for smaller win, as they have done for me. Most are just casual players who have no clue and are not members on lottery forums. Would be nice to actually see a member here win the big one, it should be me soon!

I almost won the Cash 5 matching 4 out of 5 when it was up to $1.6 million. I got to feel that "all my numbers are matching" feeling it was great until the last one did not match. Was a crazy combination too. 05 07 08 09 30. Winning numbers were 07 08 09 14 30. I was happy but pissed as the difference between that one number was $220 and $1.6 million. I was ready to announce it on here too lol.

I almost hit Megamillions on Dec 30, 2014.

I had purchased a $5 QP ticket. I had the mega # on 1st line, one of the 5 #'s on the second and the other 4/5 numbers on the fourth line.

If they were all on the same line, I would have won $172 mil. I ended up with $501

Was hoping for one more rollover, spent $9 and not one number.

Guess I'm suffering from post Powerball blues, played KY's Cashball for tonight and for the fist time did their kicker.  Even winning the $200K pre-tax would allow me to do what needs to be done.

Had a ball reading each and every LP post, this group really does rock!!

Thanks Todd et al for all the great coverage.

And it happened just as everyone says it does.

I was checking my ticket while sitting in front of my computer.

I was like....OK, I got one #, oh look I got another.....wait, there goes another match.....WHAT??? one more!

Just saw on the news that their winning ticket was sold in a Publix store.  Aroused my curiosity and thought that was the name of the store where Gloria bought her mega prize in Florida...it was a Publix store.

                            Congrats to the winners.

The best part of three winners is, IMHO is this negates all the naysayers, mathematicians, etc who have said over and over again lotteries are unwinnable.  Maybe TLC will update their lottery show again, hope so.

                              Groppo,

Don't set yourself up to be disappointed.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

                              Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.
