Texas 2 Steps?
Will be moving to Texas by the end of this month, thought I would get started looking into Texas lotto games. Created Texas 2 Steps excel sheets today, going to be compiling a year's worth of info starting 2008. This will give a good bird's eye view on its pattern to detect the Normal Rhythm or Normal Behaviors . It is looking good, and will take up a good few days to finish it before starting the analysis. I noticed that there are not many Texas 2 Steps discussions on...

Some lottery thoughts.
I guess that due stats can stay due for a very long time. So far on the last post only 2 due patterns came out, a boxed winning number today at noon and 3 numbers out of the chosen eight, but 3 out of 8 is no great thing and they were not even the most due ones to come out soon. So far only the 8 most due digits out of the 10 have shown to have any value out of those due patterns....

June... gearing up for LRS round 2
May was a bust... $101 spent (from april's $500 fluke win) $4 won (all on PA cash5) June gets cheaper... Tonight 1/5 on cash5, 0/6 on match 6... cost to play $3 tomorrow is another $3 day... then sun. and mon. only $1 ;-) June cost will be $66 (again, from april's $500). Then for July I will be back to spending my own money, so more cutbacks will be made. paper testing of scenarios on the Chain Reaction program are ongoing, again... no live tests planned un...

Then back home for five days, then back on the road again for Lake Harmony PA. The one in Cleveland is the big one - Nationals. Won't be online much - just often enough to check mail and forums. September is shot as far as work goes unless I can get it done on the laptop....

'ZEN and the art of backtesting'
pieces coming together for backtesting... first thing about the system is there are too many numbers to play. Let me share some insights on my system design process... To win at backtesting there are actually several components involved (some at the system design level)... A). For the backtest period, amount won MUST be greater than amount played (even if only by $1) B). Cyclic repeatability must fall within an interval of draws not to exceed t...

Back in the game
Good to be back! Noticed I have been an LP member for 20 years. After a number of years in the I give up gang, I realized that the work I was doing with lottery data was good practice with excel and I am starting up a new angle. In the interim I have learned to code in python, in fact just 8 classes to go (the long path, 1 at a time) to earn a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Right now the current project is to generate predictions using Python code I wro...
