Do you have any peculiar lottery habits or superstitions?
If there's someone behind me and isn't gonna buy a ticket, I always let them go ahead of me in hopes that the quick pick machine sees my act of kindness and gives me the winning ticket. If they are gonna buy a ticket, I'm not gonna take the chance of losing my winning ticket.

California 1/3 Billion Dollar Powerball Ticket Lost?
My mom was thinking that an illegal bought the 1/3 billion powerball ticket and they're afraid or don't know how to claim it. Since the TN family and the FL couple claimed their share I was thinking the lucky CA person(s) were taking their sweet time before claiming. But now I'm starting to think that 3rd ticket is lost or saw its doom in a washing machine. However still proud that California participated in the record winning powerball jackpot.

Winning ticket
When you bring your winning ticket to the Lottery Office. How would you react at the moment the officials place your ticket into the validation machine and it is verified? What would you do? Scream? Cry? Kiss your loved ones?

PA Raffle Tickets on Sale - Drawing July 11, 2015
G5 - there was something else Ron said in his earlier post ... With that said, I don't know if the randomizer is skewed ... or is it showing a strong bias toward higher numbers? So it could be something with the RNG machine. How many other states have made this discovery with their RNG or computerized machines? Two things we don't know ... is this the same RNG Raffle Machine being used since the Raffle first started ... if not, then how many RNG machines for the raffle drawing have there b

You scan your PB/MM ticket and it reads " See the Clerk"..
Do you hand your ticket over to the Clerk and ask So what is the ticket telling you me ? Or do you take a look at the Clerk with a grin say See You later and head out to your mode of transportation - out comes your phone to confirm what the machine is telling you? 3rd Time this month I matched #s in MM & PB drawings.
I always check my numbers online before I claim the ticket. So they can't pull anything. Plus the the machine makes a noise if your ticket wins anything.

you cant cash out if you scratch off the code?
Well if you mean the prize amount listed under the numbers , on the front of the ticket , that you scratch off , your co worker is wrong You scratch the numbers and then if they match the games winning numbers , then you scratch the prize amount to see what you have won Now the BAR Code on the back of the ticket , or where ever it may be located , is totally different You don't want to damage that I have seen heavy players buy a lot of tickets , and then see them

Scanned Lottery Ticket.
Some clerks do not give that receipt, some keep winning ticket, some offer your your winning ticket back, some hand you your receipt almost forcefully. It's a mess. I remember when I was younger and naive, I actually asked clerk girl to check several of my tickets. She was checking and then something biped in a machine. I thought for a moment it means I won something, but she said there was no wins and threw the tickets in a trash. I am still wondering.

Why is it the mid west, south, and east coast have winners?
Arizona is considered the West! CA doesn't have PB but has won MM quite often. Since the numbers are drawn at random, states will win at random. There is not a conspiracy to let certain states, cities, ethnic groups, male/female, rich, poor etc win. All who buy a ticket have an equal chance (1 in 175,000,000) to win. The machine that does the drawing does not know who or where the winning ticket is from or if there is even a winning ticket.

states winning
This is an open ended question. HOpe you are ready for some of the wildest conspiracy theories! This is just an idea. It is due to the random picking of the numbers. There are many factors that have to fall in line for that ticket to win. First someone either has to choose the numbers themselves or allows that state's computer random generation program to select the numbers for that ticket. Second the machine that produces the numbers for the drawing, has to produce the exact balls for that
