Oh Yeah My Invention!!
I am not trying to rain on your parade or be mean but most of those let us patent your invention are notorious rip offs. I trust you already obtained a provisional patent as well since you are now disclosing it to the public. If not, you are in serious trouble here already. I did a quick search and it looks like a patent was granted in 1988 for your product and they are already being sold in the marketplace. Two, as a writer with a real publishing contact, no one should charge you a dime for

Litigation Proofing your lottery pool
Thank you. Some constructiveness I am hoping the electronic trail will bolster the fact that they new as well as everyone else new they were not in BEFORE THE FIRST DRAWING. And they waited until after we hit to say anything. Personal tickets that are not divisible by 20 and the fact it can be shown that everyone had copies of the tickets BEFORE THE FIRST DRAWING should add some weight with the judge. Plus I have proof of the turdheads fragmented participation over a 3 year period.

Has the lottery ever failed to pay annuity?
I have never heard of an official government run lottery failing to buy an annunity for their jackpot winner. I have never heard of an annunity company failing to make payments to the winner except where the court has ordered back taxes, child support, welfare payments to be subtracted, etc. In my opinion much of what could happen would be dependent on the contract agreed to and the official rules of that particular lottery (not the partial stuff on the website). There is th

Let"S Please...Stop The Madness
Relatives would be the main problem for some of us, and in my case I would have to cut myself off completely from them if they knew I had money. I have a sibling who wouldn't think twice about killing me if she thought it would get her an inheritance more quickly. I'd have to make certain she completely understood that she isn't in the will, and every few months fax her a copy of the page where it says that when I die she gets $1 to remind her why she's not killing me. And I still couldn't be co

Cash Vs Annuity Payments
Yes I understand how the annuity works and yes the compound interest formula over simplifies the question but the basic fact remains, government bonds are at very very low rates and taxes are at low rates. If you look at treasury.gov at the start of this year yields were 0.01 to 2.98, and only the 20 and 30 year notes are over 2. Go back 5 years to 07 and the yields were 4.68 to 5.11 and it was the 3 month to 1 year notes that were all over 5. All they do with the annuity is take the cash in

Are pre-draws corrupting your lottery strategy ?
Dunno if it is normal or not. It might be written in the contract the state has with G-Tech, or part of the by-laws of the lottery commission of the state. The only explanation for the post test is to ensure nothing was tampered with during or after the pre-test or during the live draw. Other states may have a post test as well. For all I know Texas might and not publish that fact. I did see that Texas has had more than 4 pre-tests at times. A few times there were five pre-tests and once

Attention State Lottery Officials - Here's What The Players Want
Excellent topic rdgrnr. Although my State, Maryland, has started a blog on it's web site, I do believe someone @ MDSL continues to monitor LP. MDSL uses the ball system to pick all of it's games, but some how we all question the randomness. Are the pre-test being taped and run as if it's the true winning numbers when the computer that take in the bets have generated the intake of the money and numbers that have been played? My biggest beef has been, 2 things; 1.) Airing the drawings
