Does anyone have luck with vending machines for scratch tickets?
Hi, I'm just wondering how many people have had much luck when it comes to buying scratch off tickets from a vending machine? I have not had much luck with vending machines. There was one time about 3 years ago that I won 100 dollars on a 5 dollar scratch ticket from a vending machine. When I buy scratchers I tend to not use the vending machines because you can't see the ticket number in a machine. I have gone back and forth about caring about the number on a scratch ticket. There was a time

Warning about PA Self-Service Machines
Tonight I used a self-service machine to check a ticket I knew was a winner so I could use it to buy another ticket. For those of you unfamiliar with the machines, you can insert money or winning tickets to get credits to buy other tickets. If its not a winner it spits it back out. Tonight, at the store I usually go to, the machine malfunctioned and ate the winning ticket. The store clerk was unable to open the machine to get it out and told me to come back tomorrow to retrieve it. Since it was

Faulty ticket
Take it to another retailer -- one who knows how to operate a lottery machine. They can manually type the ticket barcode numbers into the machine and redeem the ticket that way.

Well Shoot..I dropped my scratcher ticket
A few weeks ago I went to a lotto vending machine inside a busy gas station on the boarder it was a Saturday so the store was packed with us folks from utah playing. Someone had left a $10 scratcher inside the machine, I scratched it and it was a loser.. your ticket was probably a loser . Once you lost the ticket it was no longer yours and the person in possession of the ticket is the rightful owner as they did not obtain it illegally (stealing from you)

Ca Lottery - shame on them
According to what he said at the press conference interview he didn't realize he had the jackpot winning ticket even after using a ticket scanner because all the machine said was, see clerk. I guess he didn't put 2 and 2 together and realize the reason the machine told him to see the clerk was the ticket was very important.

Kind of weird, lottery machine
I've had a machine start to spit out my ticket then pull it back in, and I've had one sound like it generated a ticket but it never came out. In both cases I contacted a CS person and they opened the machine to retrieve my ticket. It was in there, but encountered a glitch trying to leave the womb. I wonder if the person before you had a problem and just left, so the ticket you bought forced theirs out while yours stayed in the machine for the next person? I wish they could give us draw ter

Computer Glitch? Comments please.
Probably a computer glitch yes. I have had this happen with pick 3 already using the filled out tickets. Also I have had machines at certain stores that wont even read the ticket I had filled out much to the dismay of the clerk and myself! I even filled out a brand new ticket while the clerk watched and the machine would still not take the ticket! Then the clerk filled out another brand new ticket and again the machine would not take it! I also had a clerk run my ticket through
