There is no reason Mega Millions and Powerball can't allow jackpot winners to remain anoymous
i love how KY changed the point to, RNG lottos I love how you fail to understand that the point is public trust in the honesty of the lottery. If you believe that the public doesn't trust the lottery over RNG's, why is it hard to accept that they may not trust them over unknown winners? As far as blind trusts providing anonymity, that only works if the lottery will award the prize to a blind trust without knowing who the beneficiary is. Since blind trusts are legal entitites I'd think th

Can lottery random be predicted?
Ron5995 ... you bring up something that I have been wondering about with the Monopoly Game ending or being suspended on Dec 26, I haven't seen any talk about it so far ... if there are no top prize winners the next two Fridays are they still going to award ALL the money to empty the pot. If the 25 million jackpot is not hit this Friday then there should be 22 million dollar possible winners on Dec 26 plus the cash value of the $25 million dollar prize ... or are they just going to keep the whole

Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
This is not a math class. This is an interactive comedy show. When you win, you can use your millions to found the Statstalker Institute of Math, Probability Lottery Exporation for Truthseekers Opposed to Naysayers (SIMPLETONs). You will award grants to promising minds to study lottery math under your guidance. Students must sign a pledge to never buy a quick pick or purchase tickets more than 3 minutes before sales end.

win $1 million per day
What you're describing is a raffle. The lotteries have tried doing raffles many times, and they have been only partically successful. There are just a handful of states that still do raffles, but only once or twice per year. There definitely would not be enough in terms of sales volume in order to deliver a $1 million prize daily. It takes most states a month or two of sales in order to award $1 million prizes in a raffle. There just isn't enough demand for it.

Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich answers your questions
When the lottery does not award a jackpot for whatever reason, like in the Tipton case, shouldn't that jackpot be fully awarded to a second winner, if there are more that one winner, or simply added to the next jackpot amount, instead of telling us that it is going towards education, which nobody believes anyway?.

How many marriages did the lottery destroy?
I'm no lawyer or particularly experienced in divorce proceedings, but I expect a judge would award at least half your winnings to your spouse, maybe even more if you have children, PLUS generous child support.

Would you support a "Fantasy Lottery" type of website?
No cash prizes. If you accept any money and then award any prizes, you'll be starting an illegal venture, sorry to say. It's been dreamed about by a million different people at one time or another several of whom have discussed it on Lottery Post in the past.
