Quickpicks Powerball: Lottery Post vs Terminal
I've never seen any threads about jackpot tickets from vending machines so I don't know. We have lottery vending machines in my state, but not many, so it wouldn't be easy for me to that study because I don't frequent the few places that have them. The most common method to buy tickets is the terminal quick pick. The point of my studies is to try different methods of picking numbers to see if another method might get better results. There are so many different ways to pick numbers and be

Quickpicks Powerball: Lottery Post vs Terminal
Interesting idea. I don't buy enough tickets to do that study. Another thing I wonder about is have there been Power Ball or Mega Millions winner of jackpots from vending machines, and have any won huge jackpots (say, over $100 million) with a vending machine ticket? I don't think this is something you tested but if you have seen any threads/messages about this topic, can you post a link? On July 29, 2022, my daughter-in-law sold a Mega Millions 5-out-of-5 winning ticket in the supermark

Quickpicks: Lottery terminal vs Lottery Post
What I have been trying to do is determine if another method of picking numbers will get better results than the lottery terminal quick pick most players use. I did a similar study previously on Lotto, Powerball, and MegaMillions in which I picked a static set of numbers and played the same numbers draw after draw and along side a different quick pick each drawing. On all three games, I actually got better results from the random quick picks than I did from playing the same numbers every draw.

Quickpicks: Lottery terminal vs Lottery Post
Thanks! I'm thinking of doing a study on LP quick picks for Powerball. One thing that would be interesting to see is if one method works for both sets of numbers. Would using LP or terminal get better results on the pick 5 and Powerball, or will LP do better on the 5 and terminal on the Powerball? It will interesting to see.

Would you play if you find out the lottery is rigged?
If it's really rigged, seems like there'd be a pattern to exploit (maybe) I wish there was a study on the actual frequency of triples/quads. Across all US lotteries that employ RNGs instead of balls. Maybe even take it further and compare these stats to mechanical ball draws from other states. Guessing, I would say they hit less with RNGs. More triples/quads = more payouts. Just a theory....

Because the hottest number in a lottery doesn't mean it will come in the next draw?
HWC - Nice study. Hot - Warm - Cold. Thanks for sharing. The usage of repeats from precious draw or not and count of repeat is powerful filter. lot of things have to fall together on a single day to take the big one... Example when studies show x wins in y years. One has to play every game or track and play a smaller subset in a said period - 6 months or 1 year.

How would you determine the minimum x maximum width of each lottery filter?
hello garyo you are correct in relation to the post, an example of filter configuration for 49/6 ex, let's assume this configuration even = minimum 1 maximum 4 odd = minimum 1 maximum 4, the same for LOW / HIGH, ETC. THE FILTERS MUST BE DOUBLE but if you know through study that there will be 2 evens, the odd ones will be 4 because in 49/6 we have 6 numbers in the draw, this greatly reduces the playable group, by adjusting the configuration of one of the filters of the pair the other
