Mega Millions Main Website
Whoever is in charge of updating the Mega Millions main website is doing a lousy job. I always have to go to Ohio Lottery or California Lottery website to find out what the latest jackpot is or if anyone won. Shame on Mega Millions.

Mega Millions Quick Picks?
When a player selects the QP option, does the machine select numbers from their State selection or from the Mega Millions selection? Because I've been using QP for Mega Millions and none have ever matched more then 1 number, and their be duplicate numbers on lines.

How Much Taxes Do I have to Pay?
I sympathize, especially since my state (NJ) is free from state taxes on lottery prizes.Ohio withholds state taxes of 3.5% on big lottery prizes. You can find that rate in a couple of places:USA Mega - Mega Millions Jackpot Analysis page - http://www.usamega.com/mega-millions-jackpot.htmUSA Mega - Mega Millions FAQ page - http://www.usamega.com/mega-millions-faq.htm

powerball and mega million matrix changes
I think that powerball will change their matrix before mega millions does but it won't be till 2010. Mega millions is more selective in who they let into mega millions and powerball has a more the more the merrier attitude to letting states join. Besides powerball could adjust the white balls two more balls and I think the odds would be less than what mega millions odds are right now.

Today I got a letter from the MA lottery saying they are changing Mega Millions as of June 24th when California is joining, did I want to change my number? The new set up is 5 of 56 and 1 of 46 for the Megaball. Not sure what the new odds are, letter did not say.
