An internal investigation into a national jackpot-fixing scandal has concluded that a single former lottery employee was responsible for any drawings that were manipulated, but it failed to uncover proof of his guilt. The report for the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) found that the group's former security director, Eddie Tipton, worked independently to commit any fraud without help from current or former employees. In 2004, the lottery replaced its drawing equipment with a computerized drawing system that generates the winning numbers with a Random Number Generator (RNG) a computer program that instantly produces random numbers. In which state can you choose which drawing you prefer and how do you do it? In most states you can only choose to play or choose not play at all if they have computerized drawings.
