$1.76 billion Powerball jackpot won by one ticket sold in California
How does California have an unfair advantage, just because it has more lottery vending machine in more places than any other state in the U.S? California is singlehandedly keeping the lottery in business. I guess all other lottery playing states, residents should go to our lottery officials and demand that we get more lottery vending machine in our states than California.

One ticket sold in California wins $1.08 billion Powerball jackpot
It does not surprise me that someone from California won it, considering it has more lottery vending machines in more places than anywhere else in the country. This means probably every mini mart, grocery store, Walmart, gas station and corner store has a lottery vending machine. In my state, my local Walmart just got its first lottery vending machine about a year ago.

A Washington woman bought a lottery ticket from a vending machine but didn't realize until months later that it was a $135,000 winner. The Lynnwood woman, identified as M.B., told Washington's Lottery officials she bought her Hit 5 ticket from a vending machine at her local Fred Meyer store while picking up groceries for dinner. Texas Legislature proposes bill to block online lottery courier services
A person has to buy the ticket themselves, and not use any service to acquire their tickets, except for the ticket buyer to go into the store location themselves. A person has to buy their tickets at the counter, or lottery ticket vending machine is how I interpret it.

One ticket sold in California wins $1.08 billion Powerball jackpot
Why would you think Tennessee would win again? The last time there was a Tennessee winner was in 2019. Tennessee has 8 total lottery jackpot wins. Where as California has 13. The #1 spot goes to Indiana with 39 wins. California has more lottery vending machines in more locations than any other state in the US. Walmart, 7-11, gas stations, grocery store/ CVS/drug stores, corner store, mini marts So it is understandable since they have stepped up their lottery game more winners are come out of tha

Washington Lottery to begin accepting debit card payments
We recognize the world is evolving into a cashless society, the Washington Lottery said on their website. Many players carry little to no cash on a regular basis. I don't know if state lotteries that take debit/credit cards use that info or if a vending machine company track snack buying habits of the people using their product. I didn't write the article, just commented that some of the lottery Kiosks here have a debit/credit card option as doing many other types of vending machines.

Washington Lottery to begin accepting debit card payments
Are the vending machines connected to the internet? If the vending machine co. wants to get paid they have to get it from your creditor. Any good wire fraud, bank fraud, mail fraud, IRS, person can tear your finances to teeny tiny little pieces and yes, using the GD debit card will leave an electronic trail with the purchase code and the payee who has to file taxes . And you would be surprised and what companies track with your purchases, you should really do more research on this because whe
