South Dakota trust claims $78 million Lotto Texas jackpot days before it expires
i think the secrecy is to deter scammers. there are just too many out there these days.
Scammers are one reason to (try to) remain anonymous. People you already know are often another good reason. People who think your net worth is fairly typical tend not to pester you for large handouts, but a lot of us have a relative or acquaintance who would want a piece of the pie if they knew it was a multi-million dollar pie. Keeping the wealth secret tends to be a lot harder than just claiming anony

Iowa Lottery has delivered $6.1B in prizes since 1985
Iowa Lottery celebrates 40 years
Sales of the first Iowa Lottery tickets began in 1985 with a kickoff celebration at the Iowa State Fair. Forty years later, state fairgoers broke the Guinness World Record for the most people 1,380 to scratch lottery cards simultaneously, demonstrating the lottery's journey from $1 scratch tickets to a multibillion-dollar enterprise.
Since its launch was approved by the state Legislature and signed into law by then-Gov. Terry Branstad, the lottery has gen

Reminder to all that one cannot claim a lottery win with a trust if your state does not allow it. I know most members know this fact. Trusts are NOT an automatic default.
The pinned anonymity topic in the jp thread sets forth the rules for Michigan.

is it possible to claim a jackpot without even the lottery knowing your identity?
Chat gpt is often wrong. Not all states allow a LLC and a blind trust is dangerous and has nothing to with the ID of the winner.
Google is using AI now. And there is a distinction between verification vs anonymity to the public.

How do you actually pick your numbers?
I have notebooks with results from the year 2000 and each time I'm playing I go look at today's date and past results. There is a pattern and I noticed it when I first started playing. I've won every month since the year started doing it like that. I also check the results of the other games to see if anything stands out from the list I make. There was a book called Lotto Stats which is no longer available. A contributer had an article that said tomorrow's numbers are in today's drawings add tha

Secrets of a lottery lawyer-Kurt Panouses interview
Long term member and attorney as well. I am sure the owner of the site does not view useful tips as advertising. And take a look at the anonymity summary I prepared that the LP owner pinned to the Jackpot forum.
You are mad that I pointed out your incorrect reference to a double blind trust. Google is not the way to ascertain legal advice and is often incorrect. You are definitely an accident waiting to happen should you ever win big.

Money and the Crime of Kidnaping
While being physically harmed due to a large lottery win likely isn't a huge threat, I don't know what a more dangerous threat could be.
If you don't devote resources to reducing risk your chances of being harmed because you're rich add to the risks you had before you were rich, but mostly it's a small additional risk. What you apparently can't figure out is either what you said or how becoming rich affects the various chances of physical harm.
Case in point - Dee Dee Moore first befrie

Ok now we're getting somewhere! So your 10 picks are based off of those which is great! See that gives people something to compare to. Listen man I know how this game works and I know that everyone wants to be the best at it but trust me it's ok to post and lose. We all do it. The bottom line is that we should all be here to help each other. To give each other something to compare numbers to. If you simply posted those 10 numbers don't you think that would be easier for people to look at and com
