Mega Millions and Powerball Race
The Mega Millions jackpot is $122 million and went up by over $10 for the first time in this run. That means the jackpot is now full funded by sales. The Powerball jackpot is only $16 million behind. The Powerball jackpot will most likely catch and pass the Mega Millions jackpot. With both jackpots about the same size, the ticket price will be the differentiator on sales. For Mega Millions to beat Powerball to the $1 billion mark, the Powerball jackpot will have to be won.

New Mega Millions game reports 300% increase in non-jackpot prizes in first month
The 300% increase vs. what those 1.89 million winners would have won under the old prize structure is incorrect. I'm of the opinion that the MM spin doctors failed to consider that 25 % of those winners would have purchased the Megaplier (conservative figure based on similar jackpots as reported by USA Mega) and taken home another $6.6M in winnings based on an average 3x Megaplier. That would give us a realistic increase of closer to 175%.

New Mega Millions game reports 300% increase in non-jackpot prizes in first month
Mega millions is now $5 per ticket and the record jackpot on Powerball was $2 billion so what could the record jackpot be on New $5 per ticket Mega millions before Christmas 2025 Great question! If **both Mega Millions and Powerball** hit **$1+ billion jackpots simultaneously** and **neither is won** for several draws, we could see an **unprecedented jackpot surge** possibly pushing Mega Millions toward **$5 billion** before Christmas 2025. Here s how: --- ### **Key Factors Tha

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Your nerve racking too. Apparently you and him can't read. Where did I type capping sales I said capping so the powerball can not exceed mega millions in jackpots. If they where capping sales it would be all over the news.

Two "Blessed" Illinois lottery winners claim $349 million Mega Millions jackpot
I think what the folks at MM are watching the most is what happens when these huge jackpots show up. That is when they make most of their money, anyways, so all the complaining we are doing now when the JP is not huge is just noise to them.

Texas Lottery Commission votes to ban lottery couriers
I'd like to reiterate that banning couriers will not solve the problem. Jackpots have been purchased by a large group (buying all the combinations) without couriers before. Have you read our investigation ? Highly recommend you give it a read for more clarity, it also explains how a buyout was accomplished without the help of a courier and how they are being punished when there is actually a simple fix for it.
