I bought a pick 5 ticket with fireball on April 4 evening drawing my numbers were 11111 and the fireball drawn that evening was 1. Which would be a winning ticket with fireball. I took it to district office they said it was not a winner. But I am fighting it because all lottery retailer recognized it as a winner with fireball even the lottery field reps recognized it as. If the doctor had a winning ticket of more than $600 that he must redeem at a Florida Lottery office prior to September, then his name and address was saved in The Florida Lottery's database. When The Jackpot Winners and Retailer Information Report was created in September, it's very plausible that his name was placed on the report either by a software program error or it was manually put on the report in error by someone that works at The Fla Lottery. I was just scanning through the Jackpot Winners and Retailer Information report for FF5. Should you win a FF5 jackpot, it's very likely that you'll share it with another player(s) located elsewhere if Florida. There are very few six figure jackpot winners listed per page on the report. Many pages don't even have a six figure jackpot prize listed. Of course when I play FF5, I always assume that I'll be the lone jackpot winner. But that's a bad assumption. I was absolutely shocked that his name was there. The next day the report was still there but the guy's name had been deleted and it read Exempt per FS 1024 I had already Googled him the day I saw his name.
