Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
We find it interesting that back in 2020 Powerball went from a $40 Million starting jackpot to a $20 Million starting jackpot, but yet, seems to be doing pretty well building up to that Billion Dollar prize with a $2.00 a Line Play and the Optional Added $1.00 Power Play .

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
I understand your enthusiasm and your search for a method to win big jackpots through the Laws of Probabilistic Mathematics. It's a fascinating idea to unlock the secrets behind games of chance.
The Reality of Mathematics and Jackpots
Probabilistic mathematics is, in fact, the basis of all games of chance. It allows us to calculate the chances of a given event occurring. For example, in a lottery draw, it is possible to calculate the probability of matching all the numbers. This probabili

$5 a shot for playing 1:292 M odds. everyone would have problem to get over the cost efficiency: it's not worthed it, and it's not fun (one would spend $1 buck to buy a dream)!
Yes, Mega Millions ticket sales have dropped significantly since the price increased from $2 to $5 in April 2025 .
Data from state lotteries indicates that the number of tickets sold has declined by roughly 24% to 30%. While casual players are less willing to buy tickets at the higher price, the 150% price increas

Yes, I remember way too well, and even at that time you were telling me how that crap had happened to you previously when you were traveling back forth from NY MI.
Your thing is not only do you try swinging for the fences, you go all out SWINGING TO DAAAMN PLUTO!!! lol
You put $25 on each of those 4 numbers and I get you want that bigass payout, but by spreading out your bets with a lower amount of wagers will only help increase your odds of getting that hit.
Put like $15 on each of

This thread is anti-MM and has been from the very beginning. The first post reads:
I've stopped playing Mega Millions completely.
The automagic multiplier does not impress.
The odds are a mess.
I'll play the others for less.

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
I'm not sure if 415,000 tickets sold is a good thing or not.
it's good from the players standpoint of lower odds to win a million dollars, but whether or not the Florida Lottery will cut the number of winners from 10 down to a lower number due to lower sales is another thing altogether. I read the official rules but can't recall seeing anything about that.
If this raffle loses money I can't see them being in a big hurry to have more of them.
It must be a combination of things for the

Balancing Odds and Cost 😁
The odds of getting 5 out of 58 are 4,582,116 and they don't change just because there is a Millionaire ball.
Do any of those 4,582,116 possible ways to match 5/58 allow you to match the 6th ball? If so what portion of the 4,582,116 possible ways to match 5/58 win 2nd place instead of first place?
they say the wealth hardly gets down to the 3rd generation.
It should be fairly obvious that a lot of people can squander enormous amounts of money. I don't imagine it helps if you're bor

Ohio man has the "best day of his life" after winning the lottery twice in one day
I calculated the odds of this happening...
win $300,000 (or more) on the first OR second OR third OR fourth scratch off ticket
1 in 31,250
pick 3 straight is 1 in 1000
So, getting both is 1 in 31.25 million
Congrats!
