$83.5 million Lotto Texas jackpot winner will receive prize payout from Texas Lottery
Perhaps part of the settlement was also to pay the legal fees. Would make sense in all this since now the law firm carries the account as the trust holder. They may temporarily regulate it .. which could be another lawsuit on her hands to get the funds settled for her use. There was a lawyer in Louisiana that made a killing on putting ppls insurance settlements into trust and he wiped it out .
Here's hoping she can enjoy the big payout

Secrets of a lottery lawyer-Kurt Panouses interview
I too watched that particular BW video regarding Kurt Panouses's fees.
I read a lot the comments that were posted along with the video too. Just like any video on YouTube, some comments were ridiculous, but some were definitely worth reading. There are over 1,300 comments attached to the video and I did not read all of them.
There are multiple comments that echoed the same sentiment regarding Panouses's estimated fee of $18,000 to $20,000. Many people commented that a fee of $18,000 to

The Predictor's League (develop, test & demonstrate your abilities then let us verify your results)
My goal is to develop strategies that allow me to consistently double my ROI a minimum of once a week to take advantage of compound interest. The keyword is consistently. Predicting becomes the art of turning winning streaks into consistent strategies that you trust to risk your money investing in. Call it gambling or investing, I don't really care. All I care about is whether the results show that the strategy produces desired results over long periods of time. Developing strategies is really t

Secrets of a lottery lawyer-Kurt Panouses interview
Something else I should have put in the post above. The lawyers website I read didn't have very much info regarding their fee to create and load a revocable living trust, they simply provided a general estimate .
I compared what appeared on the local lawyers website to some of the BW YouTube videos. They were remarkably similar. For example, Panouses advises his clients to put the ticket in a safe deposit box and NOT sign the ticket until he can guide them with the correct way to sign it so

Lottery is not random it's predetermined
To all my fellow lottery players I get it when you see patterns like 5 missing in Wisconsins midday draws for weeks its hard not to raise an eyebrow Feels fishy right? But here the thing randomness doesnt always look random in the short term Sometimes a number just sits out longer than we expect and it makes us suspicious
But lets not forget even with those odd streaks theres a mountain of data thousands and thousands of draws that shows numbers eventually even out over time just like the st

Who are you going to tell after you win the monday's powerball jackpot.
Fees are always negotiable. The brokerage house is not about to lose a $300 million account. You can do a self managed account and just pay for trades. I would just do a yearly review once you made diversified investments and if need be, run it by an outside independent advisor for a flat fee. So many of those managed accounts are just run through in house financial software. I would keep 50% in cash assets. You would probably get some free services with that large an account anyway.

Florida and Claiming a Jackpot Anonymously
It is more than a little unethical per the model rules for an attorney to say their fees are a percentage of the winnings. Fees have to be documented and reasonable
That is the norm in insurance type cases to take a fixed percentage but NOT for other types of cases. Even a top law firm would be able to set up the necessary documents to claim anonymously if permitted and with a boiler plate trust or llc for 20k or less. Hours of work and the substance of that work have to be documented and bi

I am getting harassed by family over a $5,000 lottery win. :(
This is why I only Tell my son when I win. He is a very private person like me and I trust him. People get jealous and they don't even play.

Michigan woman claims $1 million Powerball lottery prize hours before it expires
Why not hire an estate planning attorney and claim it anonymously in a lottery trust? Might have received the $$ sooner than waiting a year for it. Now everybody in Michigan knows her name and the city/town she lives in. G5
