Iowa woman wins $100K Powerball lottery prize
Linda Bauler hasn't been in town too long, but the 50-year-old mother of two said Iowa City has become a favorite spot to host family reunions. That's because she and her family won $100,000 in the May 28 Powerball drawing. It was crazy, Bauler said It was very fun. We didn't believe it at first and then we called to confirm we had the right numbers. About a dozen of Bauler's family members gathered in Iowa City for a family reunion Memorial Day weekend. Someone suggested they pool their money

Jackpot lottery ticket: dying man's final gift
pick4, i am doing good, thanks. i am still playing my $1 quick pick on the jackpot games, but that is only because i am eventually meant to . i don't gamble on any other level. no pick3, no scratch off's, not even a super bowl pool. gambling doesn't do anything for me interest wise, so the only reason i even bother with my (1) QP, is because i know that i am meant to ...as a christian, i don't have any thing against gambling as such. but i don't promote it either as it is a matter of c

Predicting lottery numbers by hocus pocus
Rip no connection to me as far as i know i didn't read about the plane crash just saw it on the news and almost dismissed it because it didn't happen on a highway. But just because it didn't happen on a highway dosen't mean it wasen't about my dream. I say it was a dream but it was more like you describe as twilight sleep that last dream before you wake. This is the time i also say the first number that pops up in my mind and wirte it down. Since i spend a great deal of time trying to project wh

Excel And Lotto / Fantasy 5
Howdy! Just joined this board wanted to share a recent story about a small recent win. You know, I just won $60 the other night using =COMBIN(7,5) to use 21 combinations of 7 numbers, with 5 numbers in each combination; the total pool of numbers to pick from is 1 through 36. I matched 3 out of 5 numbers, winning 6 out of 21 combinations. Each combination won 10 dollars I spent 1 dollar on each combination (21 dollars total.) If I had matched 4 numbers out of 5, I would have won 3 sets of 4 n

Ohio Lottery could be hurt by casinos
There's something mildly amusing about the concept of a lottery operation 'losing money' to a gambling house operation. When you stop and think about it, the only folks who lose money gambling, be it lotteries or gambling casinoes, are the gamblers. The house (government lotteries) would certainly like to limit the number of ways and places gamblers can choose to lose their money, but when someone left the barn door open for Native casinoes the horse and most of the cows got out (not to mentio
