Florida Fantasy-5 Players
Only just this morning did I realize something that I should have known since the day I found out that FF5 was going to two draws per day. Talk about DUMB!
Of course, The Florida added the midday draw simply to increase falling FF5 revenue. If I had complained directly to them about it, I'm sure they'd have said There won't be any FF5 at all if we don't do it. My reaction to what they did has been to walk away from the game...temporarily at least. I still look at FF5 numbers in my software a

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
This is one that I've been focusing on because of the percentage of top prizes left compared to the age of it, now two years old. This and King's Ransom, though that is 3 of 6 prizes left and while it's not complicated, I could see some people not realizing they won on it because it's not simply a match the number type game.
As for it being reordered - I don't think it was. I think this one has the asterisk next to it due to the second half of their disclaimer that says or have been delivered

Conn. man's last lotto ticket wins $10M for widow
I don't need to take oyur word. We all know that death and taxes are the only things that are certain (though I'm willing to consider that technology could change the death part).
The value of the ticket is $1.
That's only true before the drawing. After the drawing it's worth nothing or it's worth the value of any prize it won. If you give a ticket to somebody it's a gift. That's what a gift is, after all. The question is how much the gift is worth, and in the case of a winning lottery t

Setting a trust for anonymity: how does it work?
The bottom line is that you accept the possible risks when you buy the ticket (not if you win). Really, who plays to lose?
I think it is a risk and not fair to be put on display, and if I ever win here in PA I won't spend a cent of it in this state because they advertised my name when it really wasn't necessary... but I still have my ticket, still hoping to win...
I would even ask them to wait on the announcement until I actually have access to the money so I can move away right away (out o

Probability of a rollover in PB and MM
Lotteries vary on the amount of sales money they devote to jackpots. In the Powerball and Megamillions cases, 32.7% and 31.7% of sales are devoted to the cash value of the jackpot: This is the money used to buy the annuity value for each drawing. If the lottery rolls over, that money, of course is placed in the next 1st prize pool. Thus if you compare the two cash values with a projected Megamillions jackpot and multiply it by 0.317% you will have the lottery's estimate of ticket sales.

Germany Lottery draw glitch caused announcement of wrong numbers
German broadcaster ZDF gave Lotto ticket holders a moment of false hope on Wednesday evening, after a glitch with the ball machine meant presenters read out the wrong numbers.
At 6:50pm, 2.33 million people turned on their TVs to see if they'd won this week's lottery jackpot. But what presenters in the ZDF studio had not noticed was that that two balls, 46 and 47, failed to roll into the see-through Lotto drum.
This meant that the first set of numbers 3,8,11,26,32,40 and 9 were void. The a

29 co-workers share $1 million Powerball prize
GOOD WILL: Group votes to include absent pool members
For at least the past five years, a group of information technology employees at Louisville's Humana headquarters have pitched in a few bucks every week to buy Powerball tickets. A retailer is located in the office tower next door to their building. The most they'd ever won was $16 until Wednesday night of last week, when the group matched all five white balls but not the Powerball to win $1 million.
The excitement started Thursday afte
