Same here I have seen them dispensed both ways... I usally don't like real high numbers like 299 298 etc.. or real low like 005 004 etc... Because most of the bigger winners seem to be in the middle of the rolls here in Illinois

Update from Illinois... No big winners to report. A whole lot of 5 and 10 dollar winners. And a whole bunch of 2nd chance drawings off the Wheel of Fortune scratch off ticket....

I find the ticket checkers very useful...But unfortunely here in Illinois we can't check scratch offs on them just on line tickets. So some scratch offs such as the bingo's crossword, scrabble I double and triple check them.. Because we also don't have the three letter code on our tickets either here. Then I will take them to work and have them checked by a clerk there...

I know this is the scratch off fourm. But I just made up some my losts on scratch off tickets as I just hit 4 of 6 numbers on the Illinois lotto tonight... Which I lost on another Wheel of fortune when I cash in my winner from earlier...

Instant Machines!Reply
Well here in Illinois most places only have the machines to buy the tickets. Very few places don't have the machines. In fact only 2 gas stations that I know of don't have the machines in my area. But I can't complain on machines. Because most my big wins have come out the machines including my biggest wins ever on a scratch offs which $400 dollars twice once in 2005 and 2009...

Nice wins james... Today here in Illinois bought 15 dollars worth lost on all them so for month of June spent 108 dollars only got 50 back so far Down 58 dollars for the month.. Thats just on scratch offs... A lot worse if I count on line games in there....

Illibnois has a $1 Win $500 A Week for Life and $2 Win $1,000 A Week for Life scratcher. I'm just wondering how the taxes would work for anyone who won that. Taken out every week? Taken out at the end of the year when filing? Anyone know?

I took it kinda of super easy today on scratch offs... Only bought $15.00 dollars worth. Bought 2 from where I work call $2,500 a week for life. Which for you people that don't know Illinois lottery they are $5.00 scratch offs 045 and 046 both losers. So stop off to fill up on gas bye another $2,500 a week for life 003 and hits for $5.00... So I am down $10.00 on the day .

Someone please help me
I am very confused about this. On the illinois lottery site on the right side it says the remaining prizes unpaid some with high numbers some with low numbers, now does this mean thats how many remaining there are or how many have been given out?
