Connecticut and Pennsylvania don't make my Top 5. I would replace them with Illinois and Virginia. Most Connecticut scratchers have weak top prizes, and the ConnLott will end games that still have top prizes left. Pennsylvania scratchers also tend to have weak top prizes, especially for such a heavily populated state. My Top 5, in no particular order: Massachusetts Illinois Georgia Florida Virginia

Illinois $10 Scratch off players read this
Just noticed something when I win on a $10 Scratch Off. Whenever one of Your numbers has a 19 in it I win every time. I either get the 19 as a winner or it usually wins with one of the symbols. Let me know if you have noticed this too.

Hi new here
Just wanted to post after reading the forum for few weeks now. Ive been seeing what people have been saying about some scratch offs and imput of others. Pretty much its the same thing that I figured and thats its really just to be the one to get the right ticket that day/time/store. I started a month or so ago just buying few tickets again. I got my money back. I then got some 5 dollar crosswords and i won 500.00 on one and more on few others. I got exited. I then been playing pretty much daily

Illinois scratcher players - "Hit $100" tickets
On the $2 Hit $100 tickets there are two ways to win, a money bag symbol wins the prize shown for that slot, and a HIT symbol wins all 10 prizes shown on the ticket. The thing is, when you scratch the 10 spots on the ticket, you uncover numbers and prize abounts. My question is, why are there numbers on these tickets? Why doesn't a losing space just say Try Again like the Monopoly tickets? Does anyone know?

Do you search out and check discarded lottery tickets?Reply
I looked in the trash can next to a lotto vending machine, today. All the ones I saw had the bar code scratched off. Means, they were already scanned by the user at the machine. Here in Illinois, every lottery locations has scanners for players, so it will probably be difficult to find unscanned tickets. But then again if I see any tickets without the bar code scratched, I will probably check them.

Illinois scratch games are/was managed by a private company than has been accused of ending games when there are still lots of prizes to win. You might want to read up on the situation to see if you have a fair chance to win.

Didn't have the best in Ohio a few weeks ago, but went on ahead and gave scratch tickets another try in Illinois. I scratched one $30 ticket and won $30. It was apparently the fist ticket on the roll. I took that as a sign to keep my $30.
