I enjoy buying a book of tickets here or there as well in Illinois. I was going to get some of these new tickets today so thanks for posting the odds. The break even prize odds is the same as the other $30 ticket Illinois offered. Buying a book of these tickets and outlaying $900 only has a projected expected value of getting $390 back unless you hit one of the bigger prizes above the $100. Locations of scratch offs
I'm new to this so please forgive if this is posted previously. I couldn't find the answer. I have heard that each state distributes the winning scratch offs purposely, not randomly. In other words, they make sure that not all the jackpot winning scratch off tickets end up in the same area or closeby. So for instance they will purposely distribute one jackpot winner to chicago , then another to a lesser known city in Illinois and then another to a small town in Illinois. Is this true?

Northstar phasing out $1 Illinois scratchers?
It seems there are less and less $1 Illinois scratchers to pick from. Before Northstar took over if a game was Fabulous 5's, you won something if you matched a 5 but all the non matching numbers weres single digits. Now on the same kind of game - like 9s In A Line - there's double digits. They've added Extra Shot to Lotto, making it a $2 ticket if you play the Extra Shot, and EzMatch to Lucky Day Lotto. Hey everyone, back in the saddle. I gave up buying tickets for a while (since January) but when the Illinois Lottery came out with these new Chicago Cubs instant win tickets, I had to get back in. My results are so so thus far. I purchased 1 at first and won $4.00 on the $2.00 Cubs ticket. Next time I bought 5 and only won $2.00. Today I bought 2 and didn't win anything and these are from a couple different locations. I am hoping that I will get lucky and win the 1 in 1.6 million cha

Just scratched $100 from an Illinois Scratcher Win 5,000 for Life . Does anyone know if Illinois does the second chance drawings by any chance...I know this question is random but I just thought someone would know.
