Whoa! This blew my mind! Here is a press release from the Hoosier Lottery: A representative for the Boulon Revocable Trust claimed the $6.5 million Hoosier Lotto jackpot from the March 4 drawing. Before MegaMillions came to Ohio, I use to goto Michigan for the BigGame and to Indiana for the PowerBall when ever their jackpots were $100M+ and always had to stand in line to buy tickets. All the stores near the State line would hire extra help just to sell lottery tickets when ever the jackpots got that big. state lottery taxes
I am just about equal distance from Wisc. and Indiana and most of the time I just can't deciide which way to go but tonight after checking the calculator showing how much you would actually take home, my future trips will definately be to Indiana. Wisc. tax is 6.75 and Ind. is 3.4% or approximately 1.6 million dollars more net net in Wisc. I also feel that the Ind. quick pick computerized system has a better sort.
