I've been hyping Jackpot Triple Play in this thread pretty good lately, but I just did something I've been wanting to do for a while with regard to the game. Ever wonder (as I have) how many T5 jackpots are split among multiple winners? I think everybody here is well aware that if you are lucky enough to have all five numbers, you're more than likely going to share the jackpot with somebody else located in New York State. I'm going to track at least the first 90 days of 2008 to compare to last year, mostly for QP vs non-QP and jackpot amounts. As of Jan 2 '08, no winners yet. First 89 days of 2007 were: 2007 Jackpots: Jan: 14 QP, 6 player selected numbers Feb: 13 QP, 6 player selected numbers Mar: 16 QP, 4 player seplected numbers For those 89 days that was 43 QP winners and 16 player's numbers winners, or 72.8% QPs.

I wonder if The Florida Lottery is seeing and thinking the same thing I am??? The dollar amounts of the evening jackpots being won are slowly trending downward. They were averaging $141,000 but lately they're all in the $130,000 range.... There can be only one reason for that - a lack of player interest in the game. Of course the midday jackpots continue to be the same, hit or miss, with rolldowns a common occurrence. G5

Not a bad idea/suggestion at all. Last night we saw one winner for $151,800, and a week ago last night we had the biggest evening jackpot since the two drawings a day format began of $159,400. Gone forever are the days of $200,000+ jackpots. Just like you, I'm not playing FF5 very much these days. I hardly ever missed playing on a Friday night because that was the night where the jackpots were the biggest, but I didn't bother to play yesterday. It's really a shame what they've done to this g
