Good evening all...spoke with a Lottery Rep today. From March 20 to April 30 there will be a promotion with F5. They will be spitting out $25 coupons randomly if your playing the F5. They will be spending 7M in $25 coupon during those dates. Sounds like incentive to play which could help the jackpots then. Keep your eye on the clerks so you don't get ripped off

Is that all you managed to pick up? I bought five JTP with the combo too, plus some other games. All the jackpots are high right now (excluding megamillions now). It's been a long time since Florida snagged a megamillions jackpot prize, like 4 years. 7-eleven sold the QP winning ticket. In Ft Meyers of all places.

FF5 has such reasonable odds that I thought I would have won 2 jackpots by now! Lol Without G5, I wouldn't be playing or I would be playing but never winning! Good luck to you. Pop in more and tell us how it's going!

Agreed, a 10% drop in sales is a marginal drop. From a players perspective it'd sure be nice to see those $235,000 jackpots again. Interestingly enough, in past times of economic distress with things like low GDP growth and high unemployment I've read newspaper articles that stated there is often an accompanying rise in the sales of lottery tickets! Last year from January to the end of April, I attributed the big jackpots to Snowbirds arriving in Florida, but maybe I got that wrong. I know

If you play Fantasy5 every Saturday like I do, here's some more info I learned after doing some research. Most likely, should you be so lucky to hit a Saturday jackpot, you'll split it with another player located in The State of Florida. That said, there have been 15 Saturdays this year where one player claimed the entire jackpot as his or her own. Well I wouldn't say it's less likely to happen. I've never counted quick pick wins vs picked numbers in any given year. But this information is right there on the Florida Lottery page. Go to the Fantasy Five page and look to the right. You will see top prize winners and retailer information. It tells you if the jackpots were QP's or not.

I've been looking at the PDF file of jackpot winning tickets for FF5. Maybe it's because I'm new to the game but the list shows that there are quite a few jackpot winning tickets won with a Free Ticket. I'm from New York and there are definitely Take5 jackpots won with what NY calls a Free Play , but they dont happen up there as much as they do down here. Interesting. G5
