Talk to management about creating a rule that prohibits other LP members from disagreeing with threads and posts. Good luck with that because civil disagreement is part of discussion and without it, there is no Lottery Post.
Fact 1, I gave a link to a Cleveland Plain Dealer article that clearly stated the $10 is the largest legal cash payoff these places can give.
Fact 2, The article quoted the Ohio Attorney General as saying many of these places are fronts for illegal activities.

I don't know when our Government will learn that they cannot create laws to uphold morals. You would think that they learned by Prohibition of the 1920 -30? No, they didn't. Its okay to go to the corner gas station, stand in line and play the lottery with the state, but when it comes to doing it in the safety and comfort of your home it prohibited? Give me a break!

If the Cleveland Plain Dealer article is correct and $10 is the highest legal payoff, than it is false information to say people are collecting hundreds of dollars in winnings as Marcie suggested.

The article I gave a link to was from a Cleveland Community, quoted Ohio law, and the part in yellow was a quote from the article. But owners are prohibited from awarding cash jackpots or prizes worth more than $10, rules that threaten to choke an industry casino operators and other critics say is a facade for illegal gambling. The article mentions a player apparently illegally winning $1600 and quotes the Ohio Attorney General saying they all should be closed down.
And it's Legal.
