Amusing observations...lol. Actually, betting eleven to win ten would be a steal compared to the gigantic edge that the lotteries take on every bet. Nobody can realistically expect to make a legal free bet, and I know that I could still make money even laying those odds. I think I'd rather bet with a legal bookie.

Hopefully no one hits tonight. We then get to witness the legal skirmish with the California legislator kick in to a point where there's an injunction to selling tickets in California say just about when the jackpot reaches $100 million. I'd be curious to see with the increased odds and smaller amount of players where the jackpot would get to before the legal mess was settled. Or, then again the 9th circuit solves this and lets Mega sell sometickets in California after all....

They are not illegal, but they may be unwise. There are many more legal problems with pools than with single winners.
