Possible 2x's Jackpot Winner.
These two lottery jackpot names are similar and in the same area. So I was wondering if it could possibly be the same winner, what do you think? I also noted that the two stores in which these winners were sold are only 8 miles apart. #1: LOTTERY HEADQUARTERS, TRENTON, NJ (December 4, 2009) The New Jersey Lottery today announced that the Lopes Family of Union County have come forth as the New Jersey winners of the $77 million jackpot from the MEGA MILLIONS drawing held on November 10, 2009

Mega Millions question
I admit it, I'm somewhat of between an beginner and novice at guessing lottery numbers.......any advice? Some numbers I guess right like the mid-60 range (64-67) whenever there's a drawing. I also guess 41, 21 and 37, 53, 54, and 57........ How do I keep guessing these numbers if I didn't buy the ticket and the numbers are random? BTW the reason I don't always buy a ticket is because I'm on a monthly budget-and nowadays, I play lottery online (a real and legal State

Powerball at $2.00 - Does this change cut in to your budget more?
Nobody here is dumb enough to fall for that one, little guy. Caveat emptor, folks. Sending money out of the country is very, very risky. You'll have no legal claim to it or any winnings and no way to get it back. Quit trying to scam Americans, little guy. Go get a job.

Mega Value
Reading governmental and legal documents is right up my alley, so I looked up the relevant Texas Register issue. The proposed changes are conditional. Concerning one of the changes, the description says, Once the agreementis signed by all Mega Millions party lotteries, the Executive Directorhas the authority to implement. It further states, The amendmentwill make the language of the rule consistent with the Megaplier drawingbeing moved to the State of Georgia, to be conducted with the MegaMil

I'm thinking of starting a lottery pool
I would suggest holding off on Facebook (if it's even allowed or legal as mentioned above) for a few weeks til you're positive you want to continue running the pool. Having run a couple pools myself, I know that things can go smoothly at first and then turn into a PITA real quick. One thing I would strongly suggest is a signed agreement from all participants clearly spelling out the requirements. Never cover somebody's tickets if they forget or are unable to get the money to you. People ar

I Have No Problem Paying Federal Taxes If I Win The Jackpot.
The GameGrl wites: If anyone did an econ class they would understand that a flat tax of 7% by every LEGAL citizen of the USA would be enough to run the govt and state programs. Problem is, we dont tax illegal immigrants yet we reward them with our federal and state funded programs. Illegle immigrants dont pay federal/state income tax since they dont carry a soc sec #. Not sure why someone said 28% but the politicians would LOVE to have you on their team to present for re structuring the tax sca

I Have No Problem Paying Federal Taxes If I Win The Jackpot.
Gosh KFloyd, I read your small snippet and realized that IN NO WAY is our government that simple in its terminology. So I did some research. SirBrad comes closes to the truth in his research response. To those who live here in America, pay if ya want, or dont. There is NO Law on federal income collection. Amendments (especially the 16th ) has been revised and still continues to be revised as new cases are brought to the Supreme Court. So KFloyd save your travel time in collecting that reward

http://www.ahherald.com/bishop/2003/gb031016_fed_income_tax.htm Good article. IS THE FEDERAL INCOME TAX ILLEGAL ? Is the 16th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution illegal? Yes, according to We the People Foundation for Constitutional Education. You can reach the Foundation at this website: WWW.GIVEMELIBERTY.ORG. MM Winner Press Coverage
Truthfully, had I had all six matching numbers, I too would have come forward immediately...like Thursday. The news reporters would have found you eventually anyway if you decided to stay in the area. I would have come forward immediately for several reasons: 1) my wife doesn't like me playing the lottery, so in coming forward immediately, my media appearance would have been quick and brief and would have enabled me to do damage control better...like Friday, I would have taken my wife out to

Probabilty of Someone Winning a PB & MM Jackpot in the same Week!
Percentages are not odds. Percentage, known in the gambling business as the per , is the house pc on any given game or bet. The lowest possible pc the player can go up against is a full odds bet on the Pass or Don't Pass on a crap table (or Come and Don't Come bet odds) - these are the only bets in the entire universe of legal gambling that pay true odds - and people still get slaughtered making these bets, but I digress... On the game of roulette, except for a couple of bets, the house
