Is it possible/legal to get a kickback from retailers?
Don't retailers in most states get like... 6% of every ticket sold plus a bonus for prizes over a certain amount? If I'm going to be spending a few hundred dollars a week at a store, is it legal to negotiate a deal with the retailer where we split the 6% they get 50/50? Anyone know?

Is this legal? Part 2
I see a man scratching his scratch offs by the cashier. I ask the clerk for 2 scratch offs #30 the same scratch off the man bought. The clerk keeps asking the man do you want another one while ignoring me. The man keeps on saying Yes After 5 minutes of this show, I decide to choose a different ticket. Is this legal?

Is this legal?
I bought 3 scratch off tickets but they were losers so I asked for one more. The store clerk seeing that my tickets were losers kept the next one and gave me the one after that. I was speechless and mad but took the ticket anyway. The one she gave me was a loser. Is this legal? Has this happened to anyone else?

Is it a scam by a lottery to end the game when half of the top prize still available?
i think it is a ROBBERY in your face..WHY -THEY MADE their profit many times over by s3lling th3 losing tickets qnd now decided to stop it when they can see that the winning tickets will b soon found.so instead of having to pay the big prizes th3y just say -well game is cancell3d due to this or that...th3y may call this legal but my instinct calls it legal robbery of responsible players money.

Question
Emily is correct. (of course, she's a very wise person!) She's a lot nice than I am, however, and I simply had to put my 2 cents in and comment that this is a very strange question for someone who just joined today. Anyway, of course it wouldn't be legal, even if it was somehow possible to collect the money. Stealing is never legal.

Scratchers - counter or vending machine?
I have seen vending machines for scratch off tickets in Syracuse, New York and I found it kind of strange. The only way to get scratch-offs or any other kind of lottery ticket here in Louisiana is at the counter. It may not be legal in some states to sell them in vending machines, to keep away the underage gamblers.
In New York, lottery scratch-off vending machines are legal but cigarette machines aren't while here in Louisiana, scratch-off vending machines aren't legal but cigarette machin

It is only illegal if sent through the U.S. Mail. If you use UPS or another private carrier it is completely legal.
