Michigan Instant Games
I copied this text from Michgan's financial report Instant games had an overall payout of 63.1% in 2005, 63.2% in 2004 and 62.8% in 2003. The games vary in payout percentage depending on selling price of a ticket for a game. Instant game prize payouts range from 50% for a $1 game to 70% for a $20 game. The decrease in instant game prize expense from 2004 to 2005 of 4.1% is directly related to the 4% reduction in instant game sales. I thought by law all instant games had to pay back 70%. Am I

Unclaimed Jackpot Prizes
Yep, look at the Michigan web site and look at the $5 Cadillac Cash Ticket. Look at the remaining top prizes and then look at the remaining lower prizes. Look at the Michigan $1 Cash for Life ticket prizes and you will see that it is obviously past due also. There are others but those are two examples. The law should be that if they pull tickets that are not going back in circulation then they have to pull any prizes from that pack from the remaining prizes listed on the website othe

Pull Tabs?
Hey Everyone, I'm a long time reader and first time poster on the board. I thought I'd jump in and start a little convo about my favorite lottery game...Pull Tabs! I live in Michigan and they have great tabs. I won $100+ on multiple occasions and also a $2,000 prize another time! No wonder they're my favorite game. What do other states offer/do you guys like playing them in your state? Any other Michiganders who like the Michigan Pull Tabs? Just curious...happy to join!

I don't much like the scratchers.
I dont normally play scratch offs. I like the Nightly Michigan Keno Game instead. The odds are better than for scratch tickets and the prizes are better. Instead of buying a $5 scratch ticket you can buy five keno tickets with the same numbers and if you do win you get five times the prize! I had not won $100 on a scratch ticket since the 80's when I decided the Keno here is better. Sure enough! I won $25 and since I had 5 tickets with the same numbers I got $125! If you buy a $5 scratch tic

Buying seperate tickets in Michigan and winning lots!
Hello, new here. I'm not a big time player as I attend college, but I do tend to play a little bit every week within my budget. I have never understood buying from the same roll, I have had much better luck buying one ticket each from a seperate roll. This week: There is a new cash for life ticket out and I bought one each of the $1, $2, $5, $10 and won $20 off the $10 one. I went back and bought the $1, $2, $5 and won $40 off the $5 one. I went back to buy the $1 and $2 and won $2 on the

Michigan scratchers.
I don't know all of them, but here's the ones I have been playing. Quick 50s: ($1) Meh. Bad odds and small prizes. I like that there are so many 50 dollar prizes, but I have yet to win them and I must have bought about thirty of them. If I win, it's the one dollar prizes, which is hardly worth it. 500s fury: ($2) It was tempting at the time because of all the 500 dollar prizes (largest prize you can claim at the store), but based on a little math, I've concluded that out of ten stores, th

How much do you play?
I was playing them daily for a while. I was in search of a Ten Dollar Ticket, Million Dollar Mega Play Then i started finding most the big money winners were on average 108 miles West of where i live. Also asked the store owners around where i live if they have ever sold and big $$$ winners. The answer was unanimous. Big Fat NO. Do i think the Michigan Lottery will place any winners in Harrison Township, NO! Here's where some of the winners are...of the scratch off games i play, $10.00 ti
