You know here's my point and you have to really look at it this way you've been breaking the odds of one in every 102 games getting these three number hits even anytime you put the odds in your favor. it's an incredible advantage ,think of it as playing blackjack at the casino. For the Powerball the best bet is to shoot for the 2nd and below prizes, it looks like it's set at 1 million and each winner gets 1 million. But the odds are 1 in 11,688,053.52 the regular pick 5 games have better odds,

But for the life of the group, the group buys over 1,000 tickets. Then the odds of winning are about 1 in 300,000. Impossible to get those odds on any national or state game when playing as an individual and aiming to win over $1 million.

the odds on buying one ticket and winning are 1 in 302.5 million for the mega millions and 1 in 292.2 million, hence the reason players and groups buy multiple tickets. They are many things that folks would be surprised have better odds than these.

I'm not exactly sure what point you're trying to make... Yes, the odds are 1 in 9,366,819 . The probability per ticket is 3 in 9,366819 . Apparently the Florida Lottery thinks you can change the odds just by how many lines you play. Not so.
