Minnesota Lottery to discontinue Lucky for Life
Minnesota is the latest state to end participation the multi-state game

The Minnesota Lottery revealed that it will no longer offer the Lucky for Life multi-state draw game after the drawing on Jun. 28, 2021.
The Lottery also announced that advance draw purchases will be limited in Minnesota starting this Thurs., May 13.
Players will gradually be able to purchase fewer advance draws with each consecutive drawing, with 13 advance draws available during the sales perio

Powerball to increase to three drawings a week

This morning, lottery officials announced that the multi-state Powerball lottery game will increase the number of nightly drawings from two to three times a week starting August 2021.
Players will have another shot at that big jackpot prize now that a new Monday drawing is added to the weekly draw schedule.
In addition to the drawings held on Wednesday and Saturday nights at 10:59 EST, Powerball will conduct a drawing on Monday nights at the same time.

Multi-state Lucky for Life lottery game starting daily drawings in July

This morning, the state lotteries participating in the multi-state Lucky for Life lottery game announced that players will get daily opportunities to win $1,000 a day for life starting this summer.
The game, which currently holds drawings twice a week on Monday and Thursday evenings, will move to a daily format starting Jul. 19, 2021.

Idaho lottery players get a new game and more drawings starting this week
State becomes fifth to offer multi-state 2by2; Weekly Grand goes daily

This week the Idaho Lottery began offering the multi-state 2by2 game for the first time and expanded its in-state Weekly Grand game to daily drawings.
Both of the changes went into effect Sunday, although for the 2by2 game tonight's drawing is the first for Idaho players in which they have a shot at winning the multi-state game's double-sized jackpot of $44,000.

Mississippi lottery players hoping for another local draw-style game won't have to wait much longer last Monday, the Mississippi Lottery announced that it will be releasing its newest draw game in April called Match 5.
