Louise White, a vivacious 81-year-old of Newport, R.I., stepped forward today as the winner of $336.4 million, the third largest Powerball lottery in the history of the game.

The winner of a $34.5 million Hoosier Lotto jackpot wants to remain anonymous, but a woman who claims to be his estranged wife is demanding a piece of the prize.

New Mexico ticket wins Powerball's first $1M second prize

Last night the Powerball multi-state lottery held its first draw using its new prize structure, and a New Mexico Lottery player has the distinction of winning the first non-multiplied second-prize ticket worth $1 million.
