A former Iowa Lottery employee was arrested after an investigation found she stole lottery tickets from stores and a bar in the Fort Dodge area, according to officials and court records in the case. A construction worker brought 1,300 stolen Iowa Lottery tickets into the Quad-Cities and cashed them at several stops in the area before Bettendorf police caught up with him, police say.
