There are two aspects of programming.
1) Concept & design of what you want to do and how you want to do.
2) Program/Code to do what is needed in number 1 above.
In some applications both aspects can be handled by single person and in some others, separate persons are needed to achieve the goal.
We all know that programs are nothing more than what we ask them to do. They can not do what you did not ask them to do. Even programs which create artificial intelligence also are doing what the designer & coder wrote it to do based on certain conditions.
Also the benefit of using/writing programs is that it reduces time to complete certain things/calculations which if done by humans will take a very long time and at times impossible to do manually.
If you know want to develop a lottery system and have idea of what & how you want to do it then it would be great that you know programming or try to learn programming and then write your own system/code.
What I said that if someone has some idea in mind and wants to develop any system and wants any help in writing a program, I may volunteer some help. It will be just fun for me. I do not expect any return from it other than self satisfaction. But may be if your system will work and I write it then may be you can give me some royalty for witting it, LOL. I only play power ball & mega millions.
I have read here so many posts of people doing these systems but I personally do not believe in these. I am not saying that it is impossible to predict, what I am saying is that this is such a process which takes lot of time and I am not ready to spend that much time in analyzing changing patterns in random number generation. But may be who knows, some one can have a brilliant idea which may work.

Hi!

From a given source of numbers, I filter out or delete the ones that have certain "filter" patterns, this is for the pick 3 game, this leaves on the ones that appear to me to have the best chance of having the winning pick 3 number for the very next draw among them.

How do I know which filter patterns to use as filters ? Well, there are ways of guessing that are much more than a guess, they are based on filter patterns of numbers from the past draws, a visual inspection more or less tells which filter patterns might be the less likely to belong to the next pick 3 winning number.

A properly programmed computer lottery program can I think do a much better job, it would scan the past draws, many times, each time it will look for certain things, certain relations between draws that have certain patterns and "future" winnning numbers (draws) (past winning numbers), that is hard  to understand because I don't want to describe the exact process here, The process is very exact and detailed as to what it would look for, where and how and how it would proceed to the next step and so on and so forth.

It would look for repeated relations of certain patterns of past winning numbers to future winning numbers and it would record its findings, it would record what from where to where and how many times it happened across a given range of past winning draws.

I don't want to give exact details here.

It would do what I do ,but very much faster and very much better also.

The program's report will decide what patterns would be the best to filter out from the source of numbers the filtering could be automated too, but that is not really needed, having the program's report would be enough.

The process that neeeds to be programmed is very exact and detailed, but I don't want to put it here for everybody to see it.

I don't know programming, but maybe not just anybody can make the program, a good enough programmer might be able to do it.

What I look for on the past draws is something that a program could do better and faster.

There are at least 2 more or less easy ways of finding filter patterns that might not come out on the very next draw, that also a program can be programmed to do.

      Lantern,

I'm confused here. Wasn't this subject about Reverse Eng.

I thought reverse Eng. was taken a seed or a series of draws and finding a loop in it or pattern. Useing a filter would take away the #'s u might need.

Hmmm...maybe I'm wrong. I'm sure there is filtering in there somewhere but, just getting a program to look over every draw to find common traits to it is hard enough.

I'm still working on doing a filtering for hot & cold haven't given up on it even though you said it's hard and complicated to do.

      Good luck to everyone!!!

A program that actually searched for a way to reverse engineer a lottery winner might also reveal that the results of lottery drawings are so random that no accurate predictions can be made based on previous drawings and eliminate another interesting topic for lottery players to talk about.  That's the downside of actually knowing of what you speak.

That stuff about reverse eng is just a dream, I am talking about sometime relatively easier to do that really works.

It would find patterns to filter out for the very next draw with a high deegre of accuracy, no guess-work involved and no fantacy either, just facts.

As to the Hot-Cold filters, they should be relatively easy to program, I said that the straight Hot-Cold filter would be hard to use by hand, not with a Hot-Cold filter program such as Paurth's.

Once the program is made then it is very easy to use, ask paurths to give you a copy of his filter.

RJOH and most other people have no idea of how I would go about getting filter patterns to filter out for the next draw on the pick 3 with a computer program made to do just that, they would know only if I say how it is done, which I won't at this time.

paurths might be beginning to finally understand how to use filters, WinD also understands and CD and a few more, but not very many people and How many fully understand filters ? Maybe nobody ?

To fully automate the filtering process there has to be a better understanding of the use of filters, otherwise the program(s) won't work right very often.

How many people know how other than myself, Cash34ologist and maybe Ion Saliu ? Not many or nobody else (?).

Good lucksticking out tongue I like it!

Am I the only one that understands what RANDOM really means ?

And what it means to lottery players ?

It would appear to be so !

You can get the winning number, because the draws are random, and if they were not, there would still be ways of getting the winning numbers.

So it is a win win situation either way, if the prediction system or method is designed right to work with "the flow", either random or not random or a combination of both as it truly is right now.

The system must use and work with "the flow" whatever it might be.

People who win often that is what they do, weather thet know it or not.

Random means you can win, non random also means that you can win, if you know how to work right with them as some people do.

Random is so misunderstood, Am I the only one who knows what it truly means ?

It would seem to be so.

Reverse engineering implies that given knowledge about the drawing history you would be able to approximately replicate the same draws using the previous numbers as input.  You should be able to scan the previous times when the most recent draw's sequence of digits came up and evaluate what relationship that may have had on the next drawing result, if any.

You are the only one who understands what Random truly means? Really?

I think I have a very good understanding of what RANDOM means.

I also KNOW a great deal about FILTERS also.

I love your input Lantern, but I don't think you can make a blanket statement like that. You don't know me personally and what I have learned in the past to the present.

Someone doesn't necessarily have to win all the time to understand randomness.

There is an old question that children ask all the time "If you're so smart, why aren't you rich?"

Lottery players should ask the same question of anyone claiming to be able to predict the next winning combinations.

I agree rjoh. Theories theories, theories. Everyone has them. There's another old saying. I made it up. " To me someone who is smart is not someone who knows the entire encyclopedia by heart. Somebody who has 10 million in the bank, to me is smart".

I had a friend in New York who literally answered 90 percent if not more of the jeopardy questions correctly, but had the common sense of a used tooth pick. The more someone claims they know alot, the less they really do know. The previous sentence CAN be made with a blanket statement.

Filters have their positive points, but can take away crucial numbers which might hit again, even though it doesn't seem so. There goes that random thing again.

During the last weeks I have come out with new filters and also with new ways of using the old ones, I now have to put everything together into a new system or systems, besides I am still developing a few more new filters, it will take a little longer and then I can test the new system(s), this time the tests will or might be done in private, not sure yet, then we will see if I can do better than before or not.

Let us put it this way, most people who play the lottery games lose more than they win, so if you can at least come even or make a little profit, any kind of profit at all even 1 dollar, then you are ahead of most of them, if in the long run after playing for a very long time you are at least still even or are ahead at least 1 dollar.

We will see when I am ready.

                          Good luck.
