Do you ever feel like the places you buy your tickets at are not places that would be likely to win?

Most of our tickets are purchased in a supermarket but I've always got a hunch about a real huge jackpot coming from a real small liquor stor in a seedy neighborhood.

We have a convenience mart in the area on a busy highway and that store probably does more lotto business than anyone else around, but thus far no big winner.

Contrary to the OP, I don't feel anyplace is particularly unlucky, but some places indeed luckier than others.

If I was further north, nearer Chicago, I would only buy tickets in places with Pantry in their name.

Wink

LoL..Great! Must be the liquor store we go to in the not so seedy neighborhood; but the liquor store part works!

forget what "they" say about youWhat you say about you?...

Now, does it count??

    Nino224,

When justx was posting here she said quite a few Florida winning tickets were sold at Dade Count Publix stores, many of them being free tickets (from matching 1 or 2 numbers?) that went on to win much bigger prizes.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

    Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Me neither tiggs. Folks round here gotta drive 35 miles to the nearest one or make their own which of course nobody would ever do, no way, no how.

                    tiggs95,

Are you in one of those "dry" counties (Ha ha!) where there are no liquor sales allowed because the moonshiners are paying off the sheriff?

I like to play in places where a win would help out. Not necessarily a big grocery store or gas station.  The mom and pop places in the country or in a bad section of town.

One random number generator is just as good as another random number generator no matter where they are located.
