Yet another Money Money Millionaire loser! 1/10 on that one now. What is PA pulling here? I know the tickets are bad but I hardly ever have THAT much trouble with a new $20.

For me, I have lose 3 in a row just the other day.  I have seen up to 5 losing tickets in a row before getting a $70 from a roll I purchased a couple of months ago.  Cost $1000, it paid back $750 which I thought was a decent roll.  I got lucky today.  On location 2, I played ticket #007 (won $70) a few day ago.

Anyway here are my results on the new tickets so far:

        Fabulous Fortune $2 : 1/4 for $4

        On A Roll $3 - 1/3 for $10

        Lucky X20 $5 - 2/3 for $5 and $10

Money Money Millionaire $20 - 1/10 for $30. Had 4 in a row lose on it, and then #024 lost a 2nd time. Only winner was on #006.

Even wondering if I should try Money  Money Millionaire on my Birthday (and maybe final) playing. Awful dud  so far.

That's IT - That's IT !!! How many times have I told myself this about Super Millions - the only thing that kept me buying was getting that $500 - seeing a couple guys get $1K from a single or two ticket buys and seeing the good odds to get a win over $500 - well I got suckered in again today - told myself to look for a small off the road store and try my luck there so I did - picked up 11 last tix off a single roll from the counter - this place had to be a hundred years old and looked it - an ancient husband and wife team runs the store that sells mainly beer, ice and fresh made cold cut sandwiches - I was surprised to see they had Super Million along with 6 other games all $5 and $1's . This has gotta be it I thought. Got home and scratched - the last one was a $20 - TEN in a row were DUDS !!!!!!!! That's IT - No more SM ever again. I'll wait to see what new $20 game comes out. Hope it's a new GRT with the same odd's as before for a $500..............I've never had so many duds from total buys from a new $20 game like Super Millions  in all my life!

Today I decided to get a couple scratch offs. The lady in front of me was on 13 straight super millions duds.  I decided to go ahead and buy 2. Both of mine were both duds two. So that was 15 duds in a row on SM.  I did buy 2 $25 tics and won $100 on first tic and $50 on second tic.

Sorry to hear, man.  I know scratch tickets are pseudo-random, but that's ridiculous for a $20 game.  There should not be a losing gap longer than 5 tickets for $20 games, max.  I've seen ridiculous losing gaps in California as well.  Overall odds are getting worse for us (e.g., new Lucky Life series released this week).

The most I have ever seen is 6, but 13 losers on a $20 tik?  That just crazy, I would not play that game.

"Duds" as in losers right? 15 in a row?

The probability of that happening on that game is only 0.21% (less than 1%)

I suppose it's possible, but the person in front of you likely had breakeven winners at least

That or there was a big winner in the pack and someone already got it

If the chances of winning the jackpot are so slim, why play when the jackpot is so small? Your chances never change, but the potential payoff does.
If a crystal ball showed you the future of the rest of your life, and in that future you will never win a jackpot, would you still play?

Yes duds are losers and the probabilty factor= it happens quite often. I have had this happen to me numerous times. Most likely on this particular roll - the tickets at end of roll are mostly winners. I have noticed on SM winning tickets are not scattered throughout the roll but lumped together. Its a big pet peeve of mine. I have played entire rolls and only to have a couple winners.

Each Roll in Georgia is guaranteed a certain amount back. $20 rolls only have 15 tickets too, so its not very likely to see even 10 losers in a row. Most losers I have seen in a row is probably 5 or 6, but I don't play more than 2 $20 tickets in a day.

Yeah I have come across many batches of tickets were 10-15 losers in a row. Does not matter ticket price either, as it happens on all of them. Most I got was 5 winners in a row on the $20s but that was a HOT roll and paid out $1500+

                        2014 Highest Winner: $500

I have a theory on how winners are distributed on scratch offs.

If you were the seller (The State or its Agent), How can you make sure you sell the whole lot or as much as possible even after the major prizes have already been won ?

My answer is to make sure each retailer gets a steady amount of the lesser prizes. To do this, the mix of winning rolls vs. losing rolls are such that there is at least 1 roll per order that is absolutely brutal and painful in terms of losers.

My guess is for each order they will have mostly rolls with average returns (50% or less), 1 or none with a lesser prize and 1 or more of the PURE LOSERS where the return might be in the 20% range.

Its really painful to encounter a loser roll, especially if you are a chaser. I have tried to ask about the game before I buy them, much like game stats on newer casino slots, but retailers are mostly tight-lipped and the vending machines don't talk. But if you find a friendly retailer and he tells you about recent jackpots or even lesser prizes won from the game, then beware. You just might be in for a rude awakening.
