NY Good for Sunday 3-6

 0 0 1 7 3 8 8 1 2 2 2 3

This is NOT a Triple Alert

I want to point out a weakness or bias in the RB.

In the RB you always go with the lowest digits; so if you have two 2s, 4s, 7s, and 9s, you will always go with the 2 and put the digit 2 in the RB.

In order for the high digits to “make it” into the RBs, they really have to PUSH. Meaning they really have to hit MORE times than the low digits. Otherwise you will pick low digits.

That is why you see so many low digits (0, 1, 2, 3) in the RB, especially in the lower sections (C, G, L, D, H, M); you always pick them over the high digits.

So don’t get excited when you see a 2-2-2 or 3-3-3 on the RB; it’s usually NOT a triple alert.

It just means you picked the SAME low digit in all 3 positions!

A REAL Triple Alert Requires 3 Things:

(1) The triple is one of the top 4 most due triples in your state. In NY right now (3-7-2011) they are 999, 666, 444, and 555.

(2) The triple shows up many times in several RB over a period of two weeks or more.

(3) The triple is a high digit triple (444, 555, 666, 777, 888, 999).

NOTE: Insofar as the RB is concerned, Triple Alerts are more accurate for high digits (444, 555, 666, 777, 888, 999) than low digits. This is because of what I said in the previous post; the RB favors low digits over high digits. If the same high digit keeps showing up in all 3 position in several RBs over a period of time, it means that high digit REALLY is dominant in all 3 positions and will most likely hit in all 3 positions at the same time (triple), especially if that particular triple is due in your state to begin with.

A Project To Consider

The index is an amazing tool for predicting PAIRS that will hit.

Here is a little project to consider for those of you who use Excel or any kind of similar program: do some backtesting with the index to see which pairs are most likely to hit the next 5 to 7 days after the creation of the index.

After you have listed your pairs at the end of your backtesting you can set it up so that you put in the 6 digits of the index and the hottest pairs are listed automatically based on those 6 digits.

I will do this myself in the near future once I finish some of my current projects. When I do it I will use Saturday night as the starting point and I will see which pairs hit the next 7 days (Sun thru Sat).

This system should be able to generate a list of pairs that is as "hot" as my Hot Pairs list that is working so well in NY.
