I would think that Ridgerunner Mindwalker would be a good moniker if you're going to change your name.

Hi everybody.  This is my first post after joining as a new member, though I've read for a bit before joining because I can't read/post as often as I'd like.

Come on, Ridgerunner Mindwalker.  Isn't that a great name?  Whooshing through Kentucky.

BTW, thanks to all to great people that made me want to join.  I've always enjoyed reading posts by (among others) Sully, RJOH, Coin, and Joker, and of course, Ridge.

And that's only a fraction of the people that made me want to join; it's a vibrant community.

    Ridgerunner Mindwalker, hmmm...

    Yes, I think like that...

It makes a statement without being too brash...

It rolls off the tongue with a fluid-like flourish without the feeling of high-mindedness sometimes associated with certain noms de plume known to inhabit upper caste environs with their tiresome trappings of garish, in-your-face assaults on the senses. And I'll have none of that, thank you very much.

But I do fancy the name somewhat.

Thank you, Sir, and you as well, Sully.  I appreciate it, and I think I will like it - this is one of the best online communities I've seen.  A little bit of everything, and best of all, some good-natured jocularity, as Father Mulcahy (from MASH) used to say.

Thanks, and best of luck right back.

I sort of agree with CashWinner on relocation ... I would not change my name, but sure would relocate .... if you hit the jackpot, you can live wherever you want.

Of course I would stay within Europe.

During the winter I would live south in Italy or Greece, during the summer I would live in Sweeden.

So instead of changing my name I would ensure a good 19-23 Celsius atmoshphere for myself Cool

And you know what ... I would keep my good old Skoda Octavia as well ... I think the best thing is to look average with a Platinum card in your pocket.

                I always play random numbers

Huhh, GamerMom ... that is really something. I really tought your were just kidding.

I live in Hungary, Europe and here the Winner's identity is kept secret. Indeed, there is a phone number which you call and only 2 people at the lottery company would know who the actual winner was. Of course you have to list the winning on your tax document but that is confidential too.

I guess freedom has left America.

ha ha....well it depends on the state.  You can't even sell/buy sex toys or gamble in Alabama.  That's why I drive to Florida

BUT, if you were to buy a vibrational mechanism for educational or novelty purposes that would be ok.  If you are on an indian reservation owned by the federal government you may gamble.

I used to take the fifth years ago.

Now it's the 1.75 Liter. I hate that liter crap. What the hell's wrong with quarts and half gallons and gallons?

Course, a fifth was actually 4/5 of a quart so that didn't make a whole lotta sense either. I mean like, what the hell was the point?

But the D's wanted us to switch over to the system the rest of the world (who hate us, btw) uses a few years ago (since deep sixed) and now we're stuck with a lot of the last vestiges of that effort. And it really sucks that whiskey is one of those last vestiges.
